Nanshan Fire: 27 Units, 640 People, Rushed to the Rescue
At 20:20 on January 21, the Shenzhen Emergency Management Bureau received a report that a wildfire had broken out at the Da Nanshan Hillside, on Nanshan Blvd, in Nanshan District.

By 20:23, the Municipal Emergency Management Bureau immediately dispatched 5 forest firefighting teams and a total of 27 rescue vehicles; including command vehicles, water tankers, equipment vehicles, and pickup trucks to the scene for reinforcements.
Evacuation of Nearby Residents
Shortly after 23:00, reporters at the scene reported seeing staff members evacuating nearby residents of Building 27 of the Lishan Industrial Park and moving gas tanks and other items out of the area.
By 23:30 reports were being sent out that the fire was beginning to be under control.

At approximately one o'clock in the morning on the 22nd, the fire was visibly under control, with only sporadic fires remaining.
According to a Shenzhen Emergency Management notification, as of 1:35 a.m. on January 22, all the open fires had been extinguished.
As of 1:35 a.m. on January 22, all open fires in DaNanshan, Nanshan Blvd, Nanshan District, have been extinguished, and rescue teams are clearing the fire scene. The Municipal Forest Fire Fighting Headquarters requires relevant departments to investigate the cause of the fire as soon as possible, verify the area of the fire, and further clean up and guard the fire site to prevent re-ignition.
More than 640 personnel participated in the fire-fighting operation; including the municipal forest firefighting team (the professional forest fire brigade of the city, Nanshan, Futian, Luohu, Baoan, and the Guangming forest fire brigade), the municipal fire rescue detachment, the three armed police detachments, militias, and volunteers from surrounding areas.

No deaths, injuries, or damage to buildings or personal property, have been reported. At present, the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
