The implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development should be the UN's top priority in the field of development.
落实2030年可持续发展议程，应成为联合国发展领域的重中之重。
It is important to encourage member states to seek complementarity between the Agenda and their own development strategies, eliminate hunger and poverty and leave no one behind.
要推动会员国将可持续发展议程同自身发展战略相衔接，消除饥饿和贫困，不让一个人掉队；
We must ensure equitable and inclusive quality education and lifelong learning opportunities for all.
要确保公平、包容的优质教育，让全民终身享有学习机会。
We need to enhance the role of North-South cooperation as the main channel for international development cooperation while leveraging the important role of South-South cooperation.
要加强南北合作主渠道地位，同时发挥南南合作的重要作用。
Climate change bears on the sustainable development of mankind.
气候变化关乎人类永续发展。
It is crucial that the UN continues to work on the follow-ups to the Paris Agreement and urges all parties to uphold the principles of "common but differentiated responsibilities", equity and respective capabilities and to strengthen international climate cooperation.
联合国要继续推进《巴黎协定》后续落实，推动各方遵循“共同但有区别的责任”原则、公平原则和各自能力原则，加强应对气候变化国际合作。
The refugee issue has its origin in regional instability and uneven development.
难民问题产生根源在于地区不稳定、发展不平衡。
The UN must make quick response to the crisis by easing the humanitarian plight*.
联合国既要在应急上下功夫，缓解人道局势；

But more importantly, it must make greater efforts to address the root causes by helping the countries and regions concerned to develop.

The UN should encourage all parties to promote trade and investment liberalization and facilitation, and build an open world economy.

It is important that we seize the opportunities presented by the new round of scientific and technological revolution, stay committed to reform, pursue innovation-driven development, find new space for development and foster a new system for development.
要抓住新一轮科技革命机遇，以改革寻出路，从创新找动力，拓展发展新空间，构建发展新体系。
- The UN must remain a pacesetter of global governance.
——联合国应做全球治理的引领者。
As an organization lying at the core of the contemporary international system, the UN can well reflect the state of affairs in global governance.
联合国是当代国际体系的核心机构。全球治理怎么样，联合国是一面镜子。
It should therefore follow the trend of the times and make international relations more democratic, rules-based and equitable.
联合国应当顺应时代潮流，推动国际关系民主化、法治化和合理化。
The UN is an organization belonging to all its 193 member states who, regardless of their size and wealth, are all equals.
联合国是193个会员国共有的联合国，大国小国、富国穷国一律平等。
The UN should promote such spirit of democracy and make sure that all countries enjoy equal rights and opportunities and follow the same rules in international affairs.
联合国应当发扬光大这一民主精神，推动各国在国际事务中权利平等、机会平等、规则平等，
This way, countries can set international rules together, run global affairs together, and share in development achievements together.
共同制定国际规则、共同治理全球事务、共同分享发展成果。
At the same time, the UN also needs to constantly improve its institutions and mechanisms to better reflect the interests of the majority of countries and the evolving international landscape.
联合国也需要不断完善体制机制，更好维护大多数国家的利益，更好反映国际格局的演变。
The UN must promote equal and uniform application of international law and stress the need to fully and faithfully implement international law.
联合国要推动国际法的平等、统一适用，注重国际法的全面、准确执行。
More importantly, the UN should urge all parties to observe the purposes and principles of its Charter and keep the foundation of international law and order intact*.
要推动各方恪守《宪章》宗旨和原则，履行承担的责任与义务，确保国际法和国际秩序的根基不动摇。
*intact：complete and in the original state 完整无缺的；未经触动的 or not damaged 未受损伤的
Globalization is an unstoppable trend.
全球化是不可阻挡的潮流。
It is neither "Westernization" nor "Easternization".
既不是“西方化”，也不是“东方化”；
It should not follow the law of the jungle, still less the winner-takes-all approach.
既不能搞“丛林法则”，更不能“赢者通吃”。
The UN should uphold the principle of extensive consultation, joint contribution and shared benefits and rebalance economic globalization so that it will be more open, inclusive, and beneficial to all.
联合国应本着共商共建共享原则，推动全球化朝着开放、包容、普惠、共赢的方向实现再平衡。
- The UN must remain a facilitator of exchanges between civilizations.
——联合国应做人类文明的沟通者。
It is the diversity of civilizations that gives our global village its vitality.
文明的多样性成就了地球村的勃勃生机。
We should raise awareness about its importance and be more than willing to respect, protect and promote such diversity.
尊重多样性、维护多样性、促进多样性，应该成为我们的自觉和自愿。
Civilizations can complement each other in the course of seeking common ground.

We should encourage and respect the efforts of countries to choose development paths that suit their national conditions.

Under the leadership of the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core, China has made remarkable achievements on all fronts and the socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new development stage.

Looking ahead, China's continuous progress will bring to the world greater benefits of peace, development and governance.

Sustained stability of a country with over 1.3 billion people is an enormous contribution to world peace.
