Alibaba, Partners Protected Entrepreneurs’ IP Rights In Fast-Changing Digital Economy: 2021 Report

Alibaba Group and its partners tackled suspected infringing listings and bad actors to protect intellectual property rights (IPR) last year in a rapidly evolving digital economy.
The e-commerce giant took down gangs, from movie pirates to counterfeiting rings, by deploying new technology and strengthening collaboration with key stakeholders, according to the group’s annual report on IPR protection released recently.

Hermes to Change Its Name and Invest Millions In Courier’s Pensions

Courier grant Hermes is to change its name and invest millions of pounds in pensions for its employees. 

Hermes is to rebrands as Evri, with a new logo rolled out. The move was coupled with news of £7 million annual investment in pension, which was described as a first in the UK logistics industry.

Sheraton Is Specified For Harrods Tea Rooms Shanghai

Focus SB’s Sheraton decorative faceplate style finished in satin brass was selected by the Harrods Interior Design team for the luxury department store’s first quintessentially British Tea Rooms in China, opened in late October 2021 on the first floor of the historic Cha House at the edge of HKRI Taikoo Hui, Shanghai.

Sheraton in satin brass was specified by the Harrods designers for switches and power outlets throughout the Tea Rooms, led by interior architect and project manager Claudio Ruvolo, and provided the perfect electrical accessories design solution to complement the striking Tea Rooms Art Deco themed interiors.
