立冬是二十四节气的第十九个节气，也是冬季的第一个节气。每年11月7-8日之间，万物进入休养状态，气候骤降，便为立冬。立冬，意味着生气开始闭蓄，万物进入休养、收藏状态。
The Start of Winter (Chinese: 立冬) is the 19th solar term of the year and the first one of winter. During this period, the temperature drops, animals and plants save energy during cold weather and enter a state of rest and collection in preparation for hibernation.
与日渐寒冷的北方立冬相比，“暖冬”是所有广东人的群体记忆，广东的立冬除了气温暖，时令的汤水更暖胃，暖心。
In Guangdong, the climate in winter is not as cold as that of Northern China. In addition to the warm weather, the seasonal soup during the Start of Winter period in Guangdong also wards off the cold and nourish the body.
