Ms. B joined Australian citizenship in 2000, and returned to work in China since 2010. She is currently holding work permit and a work-type residence permit for 5 years. Since her husband is also a foreign national, her children cannot enroll in public schools. Ms. B then hoped to restore Chinese nationality.

Step 1: Prepare the corresponding documents, fill out the application letter and submit the application to Immigration Bureau for restoration of nationality.

步骤一：准备相应材料，出入境填写递交恢复国籍申请

Step 2: Waiting for approval of reinstatement (the translation and notarization are required).

步骤二：等待复籍批准（领取后需要翻译及公证）

Step 3: To cancel the foreign nationality, the applicant can contact the Immigration Bureau or relevant department of the home country to go through the procedures of cancellation.

步骤三：退外国籍，联系所属国的移民局或者相关部门办理退籍手续

Step 4: Restoration of Chinese nationality registration (translate after receiving the certificate of withdrawal, and submit to the Immigration Bureau, after receiving the approval, go to the Population Management Corps to go through the household registration procedures).

步骤四：恢复中国籍落户口（收到退籍证明后需先翻译再递交出入境，收到出入境的批复后去人口管理总队办理户口手续）。
