【商务短语】Above my paygrade
be above/beyond my paygrade
(also: pay grade)
Definition: Involving a higher level of responsibility than you have, and therefore something that should be dealt with by someone more senior. This expression is often used figuratively to say that you do not have the knowledge or authority to decide about something.

Some of what the client asked was way above my paygrade.
