鹤  鸣

《诗 经》

鹤鸣于九皋，声闻于野。

鱼潜在渊，或在于渚。

乐彼之园，爰有树檀，其下维萚。

它山之石，可以为错。

鹤鸣于九皋，声闻于天。

鱼在于渚，或潜在渊。

乐彼之园，爰有树檀，其下维榖。

它山之石，可以攻玉。

本诗出自《诗经·小雅》，全诗物象鲜明，有声有色，动静结合，呈现出一幅山水鱼鸟的画面。然而本诗言简意深，通篇采用借喻手法，以表“陈善纳诲”之意。

It’s a poem from Psalms Minor • the Book of Songs. With clear images, vivid sounds and colors, a combination of movement and quietude, it presents a picture of mountains, rivers, fishes and birds. It is brief and profoundly meaningful, with the means of metonymy throughout the whole poem to express virtue and give an instruction.

On the marsh storks cry each to each,

And their cries the field reach.

The fish swim in the deep,

Or else by the shoal peep.

Within the garden wall,

The sandal trees grow tall,

And their withered leaves fall.

With other mountain's jade,

A cutter can be made.

Shading the bushes small.

With other mountain's jade,

A carver can be made.
