This position is located in the Office of the Director in the UN Medical Services Division (MSD), Office of Human Resources Management (OHRM), Department of Management (DM). The internship is UNPAID and full-time (five days per week), for a minimum duration of two (2) months and can be extended up to six (6) months.
Under the overall supervision of the Medical Director, the incumbent may have responsibilities which include, but are not limited to:
• Assist in development of critical health-related SOPs, plans and guidelines for the Medical Services in UNHQ and field duty stations.
• Assist in coordinating CME training sessions for medical and administrative staff
• Assist in IT-related projects including preparing and analyzing health-related data from online surveys, and statistical and epidemiological review of MSD data sets
• Contribute to the monitoring of latest health policy developments relevant for MSD;
• Assist in conducting research on other matters related to the work of MSD
• Perform any other duties as requested by the supervisor.

We are looking for applicants who demonstrate their intention to study further or work in a field relevant to the work of the Medical Services Division.
To qualify for consideration for an internship by the United Nations Headquarters Internship Programme, the following conditions must be met:
(1) Be enrolled in a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher);
(2) Be enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum Bachelor's level or equivalent);
(3) Have graduated with a university degree as defined in (1) and (2) above.
(4) Candidates who are selected, must commence the internship programme either prior to graduation or within one year of graduation from an academic programme as describe in (1) and (2).
Applicants are not required to have professional work experience for participation in the programme.
English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For the position advertised, fluency in English (both oral and written) is required. Knowledge of another UN language is an advantage.

AIIB would like to select suitable candidates to fill the position of IT Assistant(outsourced).
Monthly salary(before tax) will be between RMB8500 and RMB9500 which is based on the
competencies and skills demonstrated by applicants in the interview and past working
experiences.
1. Job Description
The key responsibilities of the Assistant are to provide necessary support to IT team include basic user training of IT, document filing and contract management, administrative management and coordination, liaison with internal & external contacts, etc.
IT Support:
·Assist to draft IT announcement to staffs on own initiative or on the basis of instructions.
·Understand IT terminology and prepare minutes during internal discussion.
·Assist to create basic user training documents in English with the material provided by the vendors in Chinese or English; checking language, grammar and accuracy of the documents.
·Assist to organize regular IT trainings and promote IT work to staffs during training time. Assist to conduct basic IT trainings for staffs in English with support of technical expert.
·Assist to create posters or other format, i.e., email announcements, for IT awareness within the Bank on own initiative or under instruction.
·Assist to organize the shared information within IT team on collaboration platform, i.e., Microsoft Office365. Support team members maintaining filing systems of project documents, ensuring timely update of internal filing system and project knowledge properly harvested.
·Assist the team to apply and revoke the access of on-site service personnel of vendors
Procurement Support:
·Maintain the filing of IT contractual documents; assist to check missing deliverables according to the contract during the invoice process.
·Liaise with procurement team, provide assistance during procurement process, monitoring the procurement progress of IT projects to achieve deadline.
Budget and Expense Support:
·Assist with budgetary matter, monitor expense execution of IT projects.
·Maintain the filing of invoice and related documents for audit purpose.
Administrative Support
·Support the team of meetings and events, or IT training for staffs including developing list of participants, preparing letters of invitation, reservation of meeting rooms and hotel accommodation, dispatching of materials and liaising with participants and others involved.
·Process requests for office supplies by staff.
·Arrange for team members’ travel, transportation, accommodation and events.
·Assist professionals preparing presentation slides using Power Point and other software packages.
·Finalize correspondence/reports for signature/clearance.
2.Selection Criteria:
-Bachelor degree or above in Information Management, or Computer Science, or related fields from a reputable university
-Minimum 1 years of relevant experience
-Proficient in verbal/written English and Chinese
-Well versed in organizing documents and data
-Self-motivated and detail-oriented; able to work under pressure and meet deadlines; service orientation
- Proven experience with MS Office Applications is a must
