It is the most influential competition and blooming stage for international school teachers... In 2023, we will witness the birth of the Wonder Teachers. The 5th "Wonder Cup" Teaching Skills Competition hosted by TopSchools is open to register!More than 100 teachers have signed up and inquiries have been received from international schools and teachers across the country. TopSchools is looking forward to having more teachers participate in this competition.

Background

教学技能是教师职业必须掌握的基本功，是教育教学能力的重要体现。在国家课程改革的大背景下，优质教学实践和课堂环境，深化教学改革与学习创新，是为教育教学工作的全盘内核。优质的教育教学质量、教师队伍和教研实力是学校可持续发展的根基。顶思每年的“神奇教师”评选是一个为全国民办学校的国际化教师搭建的教学展示和竞技平台，是各学科教师展示教学沉淀、提升专业技能，实现个人和集体价值的最具实力舞台。

Teaching skills, which teachers must master in their profession basicly, are the important embodiment of teaching ability. Under the background of national curriculum reform, quality teaching practice, deepening teaching reform and learning innovation are the overall core of education work. High-quality education, high standards of teaching faculty and research profession are the foundation of school's sustainable development. The annual "Wonder Teachers" competition is a teaching display and competitive platform for international teachers of private schools across the country, and the most powerful stage for teachers of various disciplines to demonstrate teaching precipitation, improve professional skills, and realize personal and collective values.

目的与意义

▫ 进一步提高国际化教师职业技能水平，提供教学理论和教育教学成果的展示平台；

▫ 为行业选拔优秀学科教师骨干，强化专业精进、追求卓越的匠人精神，助力个体价值的实现；

▫ 遴选和推广优质教学和专业成长学校集体，共同培养培养新技术、新理念的创新型教育工作者。

• To advocate the spirit of new curriculum standards, encourage international advanced teaching practices, and pay attention to teachers' comprehensive literacy;

• To further improve the professional skill level of international teachers, and provide a platform for displaying teaching theories and educational teaching achievements;

• To select the backbone of excellent subject teachers, strengthen the spirit of professionalism, pursuit of excellence, and help in realization of individual value;

• To select and promote quality teaching and professional development school groups, and jointly train innovative educators with new technologies and new ideas.

Adjusted Timetable of the 5th Wonder Teacher Award

Announcement of the preliminary results on April 15th

Live class reflection for the Finals from May 6th-10th, 2024

Award ceremony on TIDE Conference in June of 2024 

参赛对象与组别

Contestants & Subject Group

全日制国际化学校中、外籍教师，小、初、高学段，学科不限，包括但不限于民办双语学校、公立学校国际部、外籍人员子女学校等。

Full time local or expat teachers of international schools staging at primary and secondary schools, no restrictions on teaching subjects. The schools include but are not limited to private bilingual schools, international dept. of public schools and expat schools.

参赛教师根据其所教授科目进入相应的学科组进行参赛，共五个组别，分类如图：

The participating teachers will enter the corresponding subject groups according to the taught one. Those five categories are as follows:

评选说明

Selection

初赛 Preliminary：

录制真实上课完整视频，连同教案一起上交，评委团评分。不外放。

Record and summit a real completed class video as well as teaching plan; jury comments. The video will NOT be released publicly.

复/决赛 Final：

将以直播说课的形式进行15分钟/人 + 专家评委现场互动点评15分钟/人。

15 minutes of LIVE lectures + 15 minutes of interactive commentary with the jury.

参赛语言：中文、英文、双语

Language: Chinese, English or Bilingual

评分方法：

初赛评分100分*60%+复赛评分100分*28%+复赛大众投票*12%

Calculation method: 100 points in the preliminary round *60%+ 100 points in the final round *28%+ public vote in the final round *12%.

我们寻找能够打造让学生保持专注、受到启发的课堂、并在知识、态度、技能和素养等维度都得到长足发展的神奇老师。我们期待看到老师们在教学目标、教学内容、教学方法(教学手段、活动设计、教学方式等）、教学评价、课堂管理等多维度的创新，不断实现自我突破与超越。

We are searching for Wonder Teachers who can deliver courses that keep students focused, inspired, and foster extensive development in areas such as knowledge, attitude, skills and competency. We look forward to seeing teachers innovate in multiple dimensions, including teaching objectives, teaching materials, teaching methods (teaching tools, activity design, teaching techniques, etc.), teaching evaluation, and classroom management, and continuously achieve self-breakthrough and transcendence.

参赛费用

Registration Fees

报名费用：980元/人。

学校团报：680元/人（6人及以上）。

主办方开具等额发票。所有报名成功的参赛人员均可获得顶思2024 TIDE卓越教师发展大会门票一张。（会议时间待公布）

680RMB per person for groups with 6 or more applicants.

Invoices issued. In addition, each applicant will receive a ticket to the 2024 TIDE TOP International Development for Educators Conference.（Date to be determined)
