When will the US get tired of competing with China?
The United States will not stop its competition and confrontation with China. And it will be a very lasting process. But in the end, the competition will stop because a country is not strong enough.
What is nature? Nature is day and night. Nature is that there are men and women. Nature has both prosperity and decline. Nature is born and died. It is wise to respect and conform to nature, rather than trying to confront it. Nature has its own laws. We must respect and conform to these laws.
No one is as strong as ever. As long as it is strong, there will be a decline.
How powerful was Britain once? It is called the empire that never sets the sun. A quarter of the earth is in the hands of the British Empire. English has become the universal language in the world.
But how about now? Even Scotland wants to leave the UK, and the former British Empire has to face such a result today.
Even though Britain is no longer the British Empire, Britain continues to try to show its existence in areas that do not belong to it. It's just that this kind of presentation has become less and less substantial. After all, what is not available on the battlefield is even more impossible at the negotiating table. This is the real world.
The same is true in the United States. The United States will never stop hitting the second place in the world. The former Soviet Union and Japan, now an ally of the United States, were once the targets of the United States.
How powerful the Soviet Union was in the past, but today it is divided into more than ten countries, which are still at war with each other. Russia and Ukraine, Russia and Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan, the color revolution in Kyrgyzstan, and the hostility and monitoring of Russia by the three Baltic countries.
The war between Russia and Georgia
The war between Russia and Georgia
The color revolution in Kyrgyzstan
The war between Armenia and Azerbaijan
Japan is an ally that fully accepts the demands of the United States, even willing to give up part of its national sovereignty and fully obey the United States. After Japan's GDP fell to less than one-third of that of the United States, the United States basically dropped its guard and stopped suppressing the Japanese economy. After World War II, the Japanese economy took off and swept the world. Japan, once a warrior and powerful country, is getting depressed step by step today.
Therefore, the United States will spare no effort to attack its competitors, no matter who they are. Whether it is a communist country or an ally of the United States, as long as it is considered by the United States to have competitive potential, it must be attacked.
There is a great difference between the US today and the US in history. The biggest difference lies in the increasingly distorted and deformed national economic structure. This is not deliberately done by the United States, but the inherent property of financial capital. The United States is a country highly kidnapped by financial capital, and financial capital will continue to expand and harvest the income of people all over the world. For example, Obama and Trump have one thing in common, that is, they asked the manufacturing industry to return to the United States, but they failed in the end. Therefore, it doesn't matter who is the president, but financial capital will not allow high-cost and low-output manufacturing.
However, the strong wind blew the American flag, and Chinese characters were written under the American flag, China Zhenhua Group (ZPMC)
Even CNN joked that we should change a stronger rope next time. But in any case, it shows a dilemma of the American manufacturing industry at present. I think the U.S. government knows better, otherwise, the Obama and Trump administrations can't continue to promote this work.
Therefore, the hostility of the United States towards China will never stop, and will only become more and more fierce. America is a shark that can't breathe actively. Sharks who don't swim will suffocate and die.
The United States without expansion is the beginning of the division, which can be sustained only by continuous expansion. As China, if it chooses to surrender to the United States, it will end up worse than Japan, even worse than the Soviet Union. China will be divided into many countries, and even fight each other, and the country will have no hope from now on. Can Russia restore the glory of Peter the Great or Yekaterina the Great today? We think it's possible, but we don't know if we'll ever see it again.
Even if the United States declines, it will continue to contain China like Britain today. It's just that there are substantial capabilities in the United States today, but the substantial capabilities in Britain have almost disappeared.
No matter how you choose, the worst result is death. To accept the demands of the United States unconditionally is to die slowly, and to stand up and resist may still give you hope. If you were the Chinese Government, what would you choose?
But China had a successful experience, which came from Chairman Mao's On Protracted War, and the victory of the Anti-Japanese War almost developed according to the presupposition of On Protracted War. Therefore, today's China still has confidence. We are unwilling to fight, but we have no choice but to survive. It's just that many people don't know Chairman Mao's On Protracted War, which is a good thing for China.
Therefore, the United States will not stop its competition and confrontation with China. And it will be a very lasting process. But in the end, the competition will stop because a country is not strong enough.
Very insightful. I especially love how apt the USSR example is, because it's exactly how I foresee the future collapse of the USA given its current political and economic strife. For instance, California would be the world's 5th largest economy on its own, Texas doesn't mind leaving, and Hawaii was unfairly annexed, so it's not like things aren't already ripe for a series of secessions.
The Romans loved being Roman until the empire broke in half; then, all of a sudden, it was every man for himself.
