WuTaiLe Mount Hike River Trekking Recap - 南安向阳

向阳乡位于南安市北部，古称"八都"，在地理位置上位于南安市的最北部，与仙游县、洛江县、永春县交界。向阳乡历史悠久，早在隋代就有人居住。境内西部有五台乐山、观日台、海潮庵、广福庙、青龙宫、聚凤塔景观、千年古官石道。

向阳的行程其实很早就已经有计划，由于各种原因直到端午才成行，天气还算不错，没有蓝天白云，起码不晒，一天的行程比原计划来的赶，早上到达五台乐山已经将近11:30AM(下次必须得换个大巴司机了 - *_*)；五台乐山只走了一小段古官石道到观日台下来后就搭车去田边厝午餐了，下午走了一段观音谷，主要是在水潭里玩水，大家对坑头村，对向阳的食物和山水还是很喜欢的，有机会再过去走走，陆续发现一些简单而又平和的闽南古村，向阳是个不错的地方。

此处特别感谢田边厝的主理人明珍和Fiona，帮忙前期的各种安排和沟通，向阳的牛肉真心好吃哈；还有感谢帮忙带路的姚贤良大哥，跟我们一起爬上爬下，其实挺辛苦，我们每个人拿到的伴手礼"大礼包"之一就是他家自己种的地瓜干，吃完了还想吃可以小窗口微我，开个团，下个500斤，吃到过冬。😀

对了，我们每个人还吃到了田边厝给大家准备的端午粽子，好吃！🍕

Thanks all for joining the Xiangyang hike event and being great help on the way, hope we could be back soon for a overnight stay to have enough time to explore more of the village, creeks and mountains, feel the peaceful and slow life pace there, Peace out!~~~✌

Wu Tai Le mountain have 5 peaks which are East, West, South, North and Center, all peaks are over 1,000 meters, the highest one west peak is 1080 meters. there is a platform on top of the mountain, it is a best place for watching the sunrise and sunset. Guguan ancient stone pathway in the mountian is built in Song dynasty more than 1,000 years ago, 1 meters wide and about 20km long. 

We didn't have enough time to expore all the 5 peaks, only went up to the central one, bet we will hike and visit all next time when back.

Fieldview House is a typical Minnan-style red brick house hotel located in Kengtou Village of Nan'an, Quanzhou City. It was rented from the local people, and renovated by SRCDC(Southeast Rural Construction&Development Co., Ltd.) in 2016. As a professional rural reconstruction organization, SRCDC runs the house hotel with hope to demonstrate the significance of protecting and reusing old houses, provide a channel for city people to interact with the village community, and create an opportunity for collective actions to revive rural villages.

Local planted sweet potato, corn, cabagge, choko, bamboo sprout, beef and pork..., fresh and yummy local lunch at Fieldview House.

Original ravine stream with clean water and wonderful natural rock pool, one of the best rock pools for swim, the color of the water is not that blue like last time when I scounted here since raining few days ago and with overcast sky, but the water is still clean to swim.

Best part of the hiking day, we can even spend all day here, tons of fun to swim and jump in the water 👙

Not easy to hike down and hike up, the river snail is one kind of snails which only can be found in clean and non-polluting mountain creek area.
