2019年7月，中共中央总书记、国家主席、中央军委主席习近平在内蒙古自治区考察调研时强调，要坚持和完善民族区域自治制度，促进民族团结融合，促进各民族像石榴籽一样紧紧抱在一起。

President Xi Jinping called for more efforts to uphold and improve the system of regional ethnic autonomy, promote ethnic unity so that all ethnic groups could be together "like seeds of a pomegranate". Xi, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, made the remarks during an inspection tour to north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region last month.

海关总署8日发布的数据显示，今年前7个月，我国外贸进出口总值17.41万亿元，同比增长4.2%。其中，出口9.48万亿元，增长6.7％；进口7.93万亿元，增长1.3％；贸易顺差1.55万亿元，扩大47.4％。
China's foreign trade of goods rose 4.2 percent year-on-year in the first seven months of this year to 17.41 trillion yuan ($2.49 trillion), customs data showed Thursday. Exports increased 6.7 percent year on year to 9.48 trillion yuan during the period, while imports grew 1.3 percent to 7.93 trillion yuan, the General Administration of Customs (GAC) said. China saw its trade surplus widen by 47.4 percent year on year to 1.55 trillion yuan during the same period.

广东省珠海市香洲区政府近期发布了一个特别的通知，要求该区所有政府机关、组织和单位，一个单位只建一个微信工作群。此外，该通知还规定，下班后，不得通过微信工作群发布或者转发工作任务以及与工作相关的内容。通知指出，此举旨在为基层减负。

The Xiangzhou district government of Zhuhai special economic zone in South China's Guangdong province published a special notice recently, requiring all government departments, organizations and units in the district to establish no more than one WeChat working group. Furthermore, no work assignments and work related content are allowed to be published or forwarded on the WeChat working group after work, the notice said. The move aims to help reduce the daily work burden on grassroots level officials and employees, it said.
