很高兴出席非洲孔子学院会议。刚才的开场秀充满了非洲特色，同学们的表演又有很多中国文化元素。大家知道，孔子是中国2000多年前伟大的思想家、教育家。中国文化已有5000多年的历史，举世闻名的“四大发明”造纸术、指南针、火药、印刷术，是推动人类文明进步的伟大创造。

It is my great pleasure to attend the Conference of Confucius Institutions in Africa. The opening show was full of African characteristics, and the performances by the students were full of Chinese cultural elements.
