国务院新闻办公室10月27日发表《中国应对气候变化的政策与行动》白皮书。白皮书介绍了中国应对气候变化的进展，并与国际社会分享了中国应对气候变化的实践和经验。
China released a white paper on Oct 27 to document the country's progress in mitigating climate change, and to share its experience and approaches with the rest of the international community. The white paper, titled "Responding to Climate Change: China's Policies and Actions," was released by the State Council Information Office.

Xi, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission (CMC), made the remarks at a military-wide conference on weaponry and equipment-related work, which was held on Oct 25 and 26.

中共中央、国务院近日印发《关于完整准确全面贯彻新发展理念做好碳达峰碳中和工作的意见》，提出了构建绿色低碳循环发展经济体系、提升能源利用效率、提高非化石能源消费比重、降低二氧化碳排放水平、提升生态系统碳汇能力等五方面主要目标。
The Communist Party of China Central Committee and the State Council unveiled a guiding document on the country's work to achieve carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals under the new development philosophy. The document outlines five major tasks, including creating a green, low-carbon and circular economy, improving energy efficiency, increasing the share of non-fossil energy consumption, lowering CO2 emissions and boosting the carbon sink capacity of ecosystems.
