All courses will be conducted in English. Certificate of Attendance will be granted at the closing ceremony of the session.

2023 EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

The 2023 courses will be conducted on weekdays, freeing up the weekends for field trips, sightseeing, and other activities. The 2023 Academy works to set up visits for our fellows to a number of ocean-related government organizations as well as legal and marine scientific research institutes in Xiamen, in addition to lectures and seminars.

The extra-curricular activities may include orientation and visits to:

● State Key Laboratory of Marine Environmental Science (XMU Xiang'an Campus)

● Quanzhou Maritime Museum

● Xiamen Maritime Safety Administration

● Xiamen Maritime Court

● Xiamen University Museum of Marine Science and Technology

● Yachting

University students or anyone with a bachelor’s degree or above are eligible to apply.

Financial Support

2023 Academy provides limited number of scholarships to qualified applicants based on financial need and merit. 

Financial aid includes:
