Vibeke Mascini (b.1989, the Netherlands) explores, through fluid media including: installations, sound, video and text, a scaling of abstract phenomena into a sensorial scope, with the intention to seek agency from intimacy. In long-term collaboration with scientists, engineers, government employees and musicians she proposes a conscious understanding of electric energy as a statement of interconnectedness and entanglement – between species, media and nature, matter and energy. Her previous publications include The Dent of Walter Umenhofer (2015) and Cloud Inverse (2017). Vibeke is a recent Rijksakademie alumna (2021-2023) and a long-term tutor at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague, the Netherlands.
Ella Finer

Ella Finer's work in sound and performance spans writing, composing, and curating with a particular interest in how women’s voices take up space; how bodies acoustically disrupt, challenge, or change occupations of space. Her research continuously queries the ownership of cultural expression through sound; often through collaborative projects centring listening as a practice of deep attention, affiliation and reciprocity. She is currently finishing her first monograph Acoustic Commons and the Wild Life of Sound, a work considering the inherent power in/of that which falls outside of administrative control – as a way of thinking through the sonic as critical agitator: how sound resists categorization in the archive; how sound makes and disperses knowledge beyond the bounds of the institutional building.

Artist and writer Shubigi Rao’s interests include histories and lies, literature and violence, archival systems, ecologies and natural history. Her films, art, texts, and photography look at current and historical flashpoints as perspectival shifts, examining contemporary crises of displacement, of people, languages, cultures, and knowledge bodies.
Her current decade-long project, Pulp: A Short Biography of the Banished Book is about the history of book destruction and the future of knowledge. In 2020, the second book from the project won the Singapore Literature Prize (non-fiction), while the first volume was shortlisted in 2018. The first exhibition of the project, “Written in the Margins”, won the 2018 APB Signature Prize Juror's Choice Award.
Rao represented Singapore at the National Pavilion in the Venice Biennale in 2022. She has also been featured in the 10th Asia-Pacific Triennial, 4th Kochi-Muziris Biennale, 10th Taipei Biennial, 3rd Pune Biennale, 2nd Singapore Biennale, and the Singapore Writers Festival (2013, 2016, 2018, 2021, 2022, 2023). Recent solos include “Eating One’s Tail”, at Rossi & Rossi Gallery, Hong Kong. She was also the Artistic Director for the 5th Kochi-Muziris Biennale (2022).

刘窗(1978年出生于天门)2001年毕业于湖北美术学院油画系,现生活工作于上海。他的作品包括移动影像、雕塑、现成品和装置。刘窗的作品通常将长时段的历史和生态弧结合起来进行想象,追踪当代中国的社会、文化和经济转型。他编织了连接微观和宏观、过去和现在、虚构和现实的叙事,探讨了自然、传统、人口、尖端技术和社会经济体系的巨大而复杂的变化如何影响个人以及他们与整个世界的接触。
刘窗的作品曾在以下美术馆展出:雅典国立当代艺术博物馆(2022),奥斯陆阿斯楚普费恩利现代艺术博物馆(2022、2017和2007);巴黎蓬皮杜艺术中心(2021、2020和2019);蓬皮杜艺术中心-梅茨馆(2021),巴塞尔当代艺术馆(2021);首尔市立美术馆(2021);上海当代艺术博物馆(2021和2014);东京都现代美术馆(2020)等。

Liu Chuang (b. 1978, Tianmen) currently lives and works in Shanghai. In 2001, he received his BA from the Hubei Institute of Fine Arts. Liu Chuang works primarily with film, sculpture, readymade and installation. His works often integrate long-term history and ecological arc for imagination, tracing the social, cultural and economic transformations of contemporary China. Weaving narratives that connect the micro and macro, past and present, fiction and reality, Liu Chuang explores how vast and complex changes in nature, tradition, demographics, cutting-edge technology, and socio-economic systems affect individuals and their engagements with the world as a whole.
His works have been featured in art museums including: National Museum of Contemporary Art Athens (ΕΜΣΤ), Athens, Greece (2022); Astrup Fearnley Museet, Oslo, Norway (2022, 2017, 2007); Centre Pompidou, Paris, France (2021, 2020, 2019); Centre Pompidou - Metz, Metz, France (2021); Kunsthalle Basel, Basel, Switzerland (2021); Seoul Museum of Art, Seoul, South Korea (2021); Power Station of Art, Shanghai, China (2021, 2014); MOT, Tokyo, Japan (2020) among others.
His recent biennales and triennials include: 58th Luleå Biennia: “Craft and Art” (2022); 2nd Thailand Biennial: “Butterflies Frolicking on the Mud: Engendering Sensible Capital” (2021); 11th Seoul Mediacity Biennale: “One Escape At A Time” (2021); 13th Shanghai Biennale: “Bodies of Water” (2021); 3rd Guangzhou Image Triennale: “Intermingling Flux” (2021) among others.
