World University Ranking 2022-2023 Released

The 2022-2023 global top 2000 universities list by the Center for World University Rankings (CWUR) has been released. The center ranked 19,788 institutions across the globe and the top 2000 made the Global 2000 list.
Global
Havard maintained the top ranking, followed by MIT and Stanford at number 2 and 3 respectively.
Cambridge took number 4, while Oxford placed 5th. In the top ten, 8 of the universities were from the United States of America and 2 from the United Kingdom.
Below is a list of top 20 universities globally.
China
China's top university, Tsinghua, ranked 47 on the global list, while the national second, Peking University, ranked 51. The national's top third, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, was placed 63 in the global ranking.

What is CWUR?
The Center for World University Rankings (CWUR) has been publishing the only academic ranking of global universities that assesses the quality of education, alumni employment, quality of faculty, and research performance without relying on surveys and university data submissions.
It started out as a project in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia with the aim of rating the top 100 world universities. It was quickly reported worldwide by universities and the media and many requests were received to expand it.
In 2019, the ranking expanded to list the top 2000 out of nearly twenty thousand universities worldwide, making it the largest academic ranking of global universities.
Since 2016, the Center for World University Rankings is headquartered in the United Arab Emirates.
