几个有关“精神”的译法
1. 勇于攻坚克难，以钉钉子精神做实做细做好各项工作
We should have the perseverance to hammer away until a task is done, and make concrete, meticulous, and effective efforts in all our work.
2. 以钉钉子精神担当尽责，真正做到对历史和人民负责
They should work tenaciously to be truly responsible to history and the people.
3. 我们要拿出抓铁有痕、踏石留印的韧劲，以钉钉子精神抓好落实，确保各项重大改革举措落到实处
In the spirit of “leaving a mark in the iron tools we clutch and footprints in the stones we tread”, we should resolve problems with force and tenacity as a hammer drives a nail, and ensure that all major reform measures are implemented to the letter.
4. 发扬钉钉子精神，脚踏实地干
We should hammer away until a job is done, and be down-to-earth in our approach to work.

Those working in this sector should show fine workmanship and team spirit.
在浙江工作期间，我曾经把“红船精神”概括为开天辟地、敢为人先的首创精神，坚定理想、百折不挠的奋斗精神，立党为公、忠诚为民的奉献精神。我们要结合时代特点大力弘扬“红船精神”。
When I worked in Zhejiang, I defined the Red Boat spirit as a pioneering spirit that creates from nothing, a hard-working spirit that keeps faith and fears no setbacks, and a spirit of service that honors the Party’s commitment to the public good and its loyalty to the people. We should carry forward this spirit in the context of this era.

Socialism with Chinese characteristics and the Chinese Dream have been embraced by our people.The core socialist values and fine traditional Chinese culture are alive in the people’s hearts. Initiatives to improve public etiquette and ethical standards have proved successful.
2. 我国物质文明、政治文明、精神文明、社会文明、生态文明将全面提升
We will develop China into a great modern socialist country that is prosperous, strong, democratic, culturally advanced, harmonious, and beautiful.
3. 推动社会物质文明和精神文明协调发展
We should both promote socialist material wellbeing and raises socialist cultural-ethical standards.
