2月20日晚，2022年北京冬奥会圆满闭幕。
经过奥运健儿们十多天的奋力拼搏，中国队最终收获15枚奖牌，居奖牌榜第三位，金牌榜和奖牌榜均创历史新高！

钢架雪车
1892年，英国人蔡尔德使用了一架主要以金属为材料制成的新雪橇，后来被正式命名为钢架雪车。北京冬奥会钢架雪车运动共设男子单人和女子单人两个竞赛项目。它和雪橇比赛最主要的区别是：头朝前俯卧滑行。
Skeleton
In 1892, an Englishman, Mr. Child, became the fi rst person to use a new sled mostly made of metal, which was later given the offi cial name skeleton. There are two skeleton events in the Beijing Winter Olympics: men’s singles and women’s singles. The main diff erence between skeleton and luge events is that skeleton athletes slide head-first.

钢架雪车的出发动作主要由起跑、登车和角逐3个部分构成。钢架雪车的比赛滑道长1200米～1650米，起点至终点的高度差是100～150米，平均倾斜度为8%～15%，弯道曲线半径至少20米。滑道设有曲线、直线、马蹄形等多种弯道，弯道数量多达14～22个。

Skeleton
Skeleton athletes push sleds as fast as they can, then jump on the sled and speed down the track. The skeleton track is 1200 to 1650 metres long, with an elevation difference ranging from 100 to 150 metres, an average slope of between 8 and 15 percent, and a 20-metre minimum curve radius. There are 14 to 22 curves in the skeleton track.

速度滑冰
速度滑冰简称速滑，是滑冰运动中历史最为悠久，开展最为广泛的项目。1763年2月4日在英国首次举行15公里速度滑冰赛。1889年在荷兰的阿姆斯特丹首次举办世界冠军赛。男、女速滑分别于1924年、1960年被列为冬奥会比赛项目。北京冬奥会速度滑冰运动共设14个竞赛项目，是北京冬奥会竞赛项目最多的运动。
Speed Skating
Speed skating is the most extensive event in skating sports which also enjoys the longest history. The United Kingdom was the first host of Speed Skating Men’s 15KM competition on February 4th, 1763. In 1889, the World Championship was fi rst held in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Men’s and women’s speed skating made their Olympic debuts respectively in 1924 and 1960. With 14 events in total, speed skating is the largest sport (in terms of the number of events) at Beijing 2022.

Speed Skating
For individual races, only two athletes compete in each group. Based on the lot, one starts on the inner lane and the other on the outer lane. For each lap, the two athletes should change lanes. When all the athletes finish the competitions, they will be ranked according to their performance. Whoever finishes with the shortest time is the winner. For team pursuit races, two teams of three in each group start together on the opposite straights. Rankings will be based on the time when the third skater of each team finishes the race. For men’s team pursuit, athletes are required to skate eight laps, and women skaters six laps.

Figure Skating
Setting and lighting effects are not allowed in figure skating competitions, and costumes are the only supporting element for a better artistic performance. Men wear trousers and women can wear skirts or jumpsuits. In figure skating competitions, athletes dance to the background music that highlights the theme and artistic conception of their performance. The lower part of the figure skate blade is a semi-circular hollow, and there are teeth at the front end to assist with movements such as jumps and spins.
北京冬奥会比赛场地
北京2022年冬奥会花样滑冰比赛将在北京赛区的首都体育馆进行，一共将产生5枚金牌。北京冬奥会花滑比赛场地将采用最先进的环保技术制冰，冰面温度为零下3.5至4度，厚度为4.5至6厘米。
Venue
The figure skating events of Beijing 2022 will be held in the Capital Indoor Stadium in Beijing, and a total of 5 gold medals will be awarded. The most advanced and environment-friendly technology will be used to make the ice at the figure skating venue. The surface temperature of the ice is minus 3.5 to 4 degrees Celsius and the thickness is 4.5 to 6 cm.
