Since it’s momentous premiere in 1986, The Peach Blossom Land has been adapted no less than fifteen times and has delighted audiences over thousands of performances, making it an acclaimed production both in Asia and around the world. Jin Shijie, Lin Qingxia, Ding Nai Zhu, Li Liqun, Gu Baoming, Feng Yizheng, Zhao Ziqiang, Ding Nai Zheng, Huang Lei, Sun Li, Yuan Quan, He Gui, Xie Na, Yu Entai, Chen Minghao and Zhao Zizhen have all appeared in The Peach Blossom Land. The play was even named by the New York International Daily News as "the peak of contemporary Chinese theatre art." Generations of actors have brought their understanding and love of the play to the audience, bringing them surprises beyond their expectations.

《暗恋桃花源》讲述了一个奇特的故事：“暗恋”和“桃花源”是两个不相干的剧组，他们都与剧场签定了当晚彩排的合约，双方争执不下，谁也不肯相让。由于演出在即，他们不得不同时在剧场中彩排，遂成就了一出古今悲喜交错的舞台奇观。
The story of "Secret Love" is a peculiar one: "Secret Love" and "Peach Blossom Land" are two disparate theatre groups who have signed a contract with the theatre for a dress rehearsal on the same night, and they are at loggerheads. As the performance is imminent, they are forced to rehearse in the theatre at the same time, resulting in a theatrical spectacle of ancient and modern sorrow and joy.

“暗恋”是一出现代悲剧。青年男女江滨柳和云之凡在上海因战乱相遇，也因战乱离散；其后两人不约而同来到台湾，却彼此不知情，苦恋40年后才得以相见，时已男婚女嫁多年，江滨柳也濒临病终。
“桃花源”则是一出古装喜剧。武陵人渔夫老陶之妻春花与房东袁老板私通，老陶离家出走桃花源；等他回武陵后，春花已与袁老板成家生子……
"Secret Love" is a modern tragedy. Jiang Binliu and Yun Zhifan met in Shanghai during the war, but were separated by the war.
"The Peach Blossom Land" is an old-fashioned comedy. When the wife of a Wuling fisherman, Lao Tao, Chun Hua, has an affair with her landlord, Mr Yuan, Lao Tao leaves home and runs away to Peach Blossom Garden; when he returns to Wuling, Chun Hua is already married to Mr Yuan and has a son ......

这戏剧性的一幕将人生百态展现完全。左边舞台，老年江滨柳在台北医院里郁郁寡欢；右边舞台，老陶、春花和袁老板在又吵又闹。一悲一喜，同时上演，就好似我们的人生，打一个巴掌给一颗枣。
在剧中我们也能窥见这般世事无常，不论悲与喜，都是我们生活中不可或缺的调味品，走出剧场，我们也许可以尝试着去以平静的心态看待这一切，拥抱这一切。
This dramatic scene brings to life the full range of life. On stage left, the elderly Jiang Bin Liu is depressed in a Taipei hospital; on stage right, Lao Tao, Chun Hua and Mr Yuan are arguing and fighting. One scene of great sadness is simultaneously played out with one of great joy, just like our lives where a slap on the wrist is given to a date.
In this spectacular play we also get a glimpse of the vagaries of the world, appearing as they do either delighted or despairing, they are all essential spices in the unfolding of our lives.

很多人第一次看到15/10000这个数字时，大概率会对其不解，“有什么含义呢？”其实，这个数字有着十分浪漫的解读。曾经有人做过调查，据说光是民间业余剧社就排演过超过10000次《暗恋桃花源》，而今年在上剧场演出的，是赖声川第15次亲自导演，因此他便将这次的制作取名为“15/10000”。
在《暗恋桃花源》诞生之后的36年间，除了赖老师本人坚持不懈努力创作为其作出的贡献之外，还有全体戏剧人以及戏剧爱好者所作出的贡献，因此“专属版15/10000”这个名字也同样是在感恩回馈社会各界人士对《暗恋桃花源》这部戏的喜爱。
When many people first see the number 15/10,000, the odds are that they will be puzzled by it, "What does it mean?" In fact, this number has a very romantic interpretation. A survey was once conducted and it was said that over 10,000 rehearsals of The Peach Blossom Land had been staged by folk amateur theatre companies alone, and this year's production at the Theatre Above is the 15th directed by Stan Lai himself, hence the name "15/10,000".
In the 36 years since its birth, not only has Mr Lai himself worked tirelessly to create the play, but all theatre people and theatre lovers have contributed to it, so the name "15/10,000" is also a token of gratitude to the community for their love of The Peach Blossom Land. The name "Exclusive Edition 15/10,000" is also a token of gratitude to the community for their love of the play.

“全新制作”意味着“全新面貌”，《暗恋桃花源》专属版15/10000不仅演员加“新颜”，整套布景道具也都重新制作，力邀绘画名家贝家骧和丘挺分别为《暗恋》和《桃花源》的背景幕作画，打造中西绘画风格拼贴碰撞的舞台布景。
A new production means a new look, and not only has the cast been given a new look but the entire set and props have been revitalized and recreated. We have invited famous artists Bei Jiachao and Qiu Ting to paint the backdrop of "Secret Love" and "Peach Blossom Source" respectively, creating a stage set with a collage of Chinese and Western painting styles.
