No matter how long you have lived away,
the taste of your hometown lingers,
your tastebuds recall the lovely memories of the past.

食物仿佛是记忆的载体与向往，对在外的游子来说，只要能尝到家乡的味道，那颗思乡的心就能得到极大的安慰。长大后的我们，似乎成了家乡的过客，匆匆回去，又匆匆离开。但即使离家再远，离开的时间再长，家乡的味道始终是我们心中最深刻的记忆。
The sight of familiar foods can evoke beautiful memories about our hometown. We can find comfort after having a taste of home. When we grow up, it seems that we become passing visitors in our hometown, hushing to come and go. But no matter how far we are or how long we have left for, our hometown’s food is always an unforgettable memory.
我们慢慢长大，过去的回忆也渐渐褪色，但只有那记忆深处的味蕾记忆，经久不散。你的家乡美食是什么，最令你魂牵梦萦的美味又是哪一道呢？

螺蛳粉 luosifen
最爱吃老家的云记螺蛳粉。店里的阿姨会先问你要几两粉，然后熟练的抓起一把粉，放进一直在大锅里沸腾的开水里，用漏勺翻动几秒钟后快速的倒入碗里。然后用碗大的勺子舀一大勺汤，小半勺辣油，带盐的炸花生、酸笋、炸腐竹、爽脆的木耳丝，整个过程一气呵成。不过寥寥一两分钟，一碗地道的螺蛳粉就上桌了。鲜香的螺蛳的汤汁，配上软硬适中的粉，中间来点炸腐竹，可以直接感受到腐竹刚炸出来的酥，或是浸泡到汤里，感受它吸收汤汁后还留下的些许韧劲，再要配上爽脆的木耳丝，谁又能不来一句“人间极品”呢！
My hometown is Wuzhou, Guangxi Province. My favorite food of my hometown is luosifen, also known as river snail rice noodle in English. They cook right after you order. They will ask you how much rice noodle do you want and then grab exactly the amount you want. After that, they will put it into a boiling pot in a few seconds to ensure its chewy taste. Next, hot soup, fried tofu skin, crunchy peanuts, sliced wood ear and sour bamboo shoots along with a glug of chilli oil are added into the noodles. Who can resist the temptation of such a yummy delicacy?

锅包肉 Fried Pork in Scoop
锅包肉起源于哈尔滨，扬名于东三省，是东北菜里的硬菜。有个洋气名“法式糖浆风情软炸香猪排”。天将降大任于锅包肉也，必先观其金黄，咬其酥脆，嚼其松软，吃其酸甜，嗅觉不知所以，口水不能自已，百吃其所不厌！
Originating in Harbin, Fried Pork in Scoop is a famous dish in Three Northeastern Provinces in China. It’s also nicknamed as ‘Fried Pork Chops with French Syrup’. When you bite its golden-brown appearance, you can feel the crispy outside and the soft and tender pork inside, along with the sweet and sour sauce. What a yummy dish it is!
