最美志愿教师：95后女孩筑梦山区艺术教育 | You are my sunshine

School of Art and Craft is a non-profit organization founded by Chinese artist Xin Wangjun. It is designed to help left-behind children in China’s remote areas embrace their artistic spirits.

In 2016, Xin established the first School of Art and Craft in frontier Lianghe county, southwest China’s Yunnan Province. Lianghe county is an agricultural area lying dozens of kilometers from the Sino-Myanmar border area.

先生书院是艺术家信王军发起的公益项目。这个项目在中国偏远的山区建立院子，以艺术的方式，通过语言、绘画、手工和行为互动来打开孩子的内心世界。2016年，在云南省边远的梁河县，信王军建立了第一家先生书院。

A lot of young Chinese people move to big cities, leaving the elderly and children at home.

Feng Yuqiong, 22, is different. She is an art teacher at the School of Art and Craft. “School of Art and Craft is a place fulfilling my childhood dream,” she said.

冯玉琼今年22岁，是先生书院的两名老师之一，负责给孩子们上艺术课。她说，先生书院是承载了她童年所有梦想的院子。

我到先生书院的时候，她正一边弹尤克里里，一边带孩子们唱“虫儿飞”。大家围坐在院子里，台阶上摆了一地的石头和颜料。孩子们边唱歌边在石头上涂色，歌声回荡在空中。

温暖的午后，熙熙攘攘的院子里，冯老师认真地弹着琴，声音虽小，却形成一个充满魔力的磁场。

梁河县是典型的农业县，距离中缅边境只有几十公里。城里的中青年人多数在外打工，留下的几乎都是老人和小孩。然而学习物流的冯玉琼，却选择大学毕业后回到家乡，做一名公益组织的艺术老师，只身前往山区小学，给孩子们上美术课。

In September 2017, Feng went to the mountains by motorcycle to teach art to 60 students at Qingping primary school in Mangdong town, Lianghe county of Dehong Prefecture in Yunnan Province.

Only seven teachers taught lessons in the school. None specialized in art or music. If she weren't there teaching, the art classroom would have been locked up.

Feng prepared many songs for students to sing at her first class. To her delight and surprise, all the children joined her in singing “Flying Worm.”

2017年9月，冯玉琼乘摩托车上山，到云南省德宏州梁河县芒东镇清平小学，给全校60个孩子上美术课。

山区的教学环境艰苦，学校共七名老师，没有专门的美术和音乐老师。如果不是她志愿上山教课，美术教室是上锁的。

第一次看到山区孩子拘谨、胆战心惊无法下笔的样子，她决定放弃复杂的备课。她只想让孩子们挥动手上的画笔，感受快乐和自由。她要激发孩子们的想象力，解放他们的天性。

她带孩子们逃离课桌，围坐在地上。颜料、水桶和画笔是他们的伙伴。大家似乎走进了一个平行世界，孩子们沉浸在创作的喜悦中，而冯玉琼也收获了孩子们的信任。

通过临摹自然，冯玉琼帮助孩子们展现了天赋、找到了灵感。他们在配色和运笔上的表现令人赞叹。

She wants the children to feel happy, free, and love nature, while opening their imaginations. By teaching the children to paint by rubbing and printing leaves on paper, she wants them to learn that getting in touch with nature is something to be proud of.

She sang the song “You Are My Sunshine” to all the children because they light up her days, giving her the courage and will to keep teaching in the mountains. “Their smiling faces are the best sugar I have ever eaten,” said Feng.

《You are My Sunshine》是冯玉琼唱给孩子们的歌。这些孩子是她的阳光，赋予她坚持志愿在山里教课的勇气。“他们的笑是我在这个世界上吃过的最甜的糖”，冯玉琼告诉我。

上山教课这个“执念”般的想法很早就在她的心里生根发芽。冯玉琼小时候经常生病，被父母送到山上的外婆家静养。她印象最深的是和堂妹们上山采野果，到河里捉螃蟹和鱼，漫山遍野地跑。她记得家前面是一条河，每天把鸭子放进河，放学时再把它们带回来，早上还能吃到新鲜的鸭蛋。

在大自然中度过童年的冯玉琼擅长画花和植物，大自然也是她绘画创作的灵感来源。她希望孩子们知道，接触大自然是人生中非常美好的经历。

“我本身是被自然和艺术治愈的”，冯玉琼说，“在自然中成长的孩子是更有天性、更灵动的，我们不能模式化地教育他们。”

She fondly recalls the environment of her childhood, when she lived in her grandmother’s house on the mountain. She caught crabs and fish in the river and fed ducks. Nature remains her source of inspiration. She is especially good at painting flowers and plants.

先生书院：绘画温柔地修补我内心的恐惧

Feng was ill during her primary school years. When she was a high school sophomore, she got caught up in an accident and spent time in a coma. She was depressed after this, and found communicating with others difficult.

However, embracing painting and nature helped her feel stronger and everything took a positive turn when she joined the School of Art and Craft as a volunteer teacher. The first painting she created in the School of Art and Craft was later exhibited in a small town in France.

冯玉琼从小喜欢绘画，但她的家人和长辈却不认同这个爱好。小的时候她偷偷临摹，在学校画黑板报，经常可以画上一整天。然而高二的时候，她从画楼梯拐角黑板报的凳子上摔下楼梯，当即晕了过去，被送到医院。此后她经历了一系列的波折，先是休学，接着被确诊患上了抑郁症，后来又因为神经受到压迫而无法正常交流或者控制面部表情。

大学里多姿多彩的社团生活让冯玉琼的状态逐渐恢复，大二暑假她来到先生书院做义工。在这里她第一次创作了自己的绘画作品。画作还被选送到法国的一个小镇参加展览。在没有偏见和束缚的环境中，她开始尽情释放自己的想象力。

“我觉得我手中的笔是活的，我的花和树是活的，她热情的生长着，像是我们的生命，自然有力。”

冯玉琼说：“绘画几乎贯穿了我目前为止的整段生命，支撑起了我孤独的小学，自卑的初中，病痛不断的高中。它甚至拯救我，温柔地修补我内心的恐惧与漏洞，清除瘴气。”

把种子埋在每一个孩子心中

In the future, she hopes to invite local high school students to clean up the School of Art and Craft and enhance the sense of community among youngsters.

Feng drew a door of time travel on the wall, and hopes to lead the children through it. She is determined to continue working at the School of Art and Craft because only by doing so can she make a difference to the education of the locals.

先生书院因其小巷的创意涂鸦而吸引了众多游客，可是他们也留下了不少垃圾。仅有的两名老师难以兼顾上课和打扫卫生。她希望联合当地高中生，一起打扫院子，带孩子画画，增强当地年轻人的社区意识。

很多人说在县城的工作只适合“养老”，年轻人只有出门闯荡才能成就事业。然而为家乡艺术教育付出努力的冯玉琼却不敢苟同。“只要你有想法，什么事情都可以做的”，她说。 “年轻人不要因为身处小镇或家长不支持就觉得无事可做。”

为先生书院打造的涂鸦墙上有冯玉琼画的一扇时光穿越之门，她希望带孩子们穿越进去。她想带孩子们做清除小广告的活动，将街道和涂鸦结合，做一件充满创意、用细节打动人的事情。她打算在先生书院做下去，因为只有坚持才能给当地的教育形态带来改变。

有时候冯玉琼问自己，会不会为选择了这条路而感到害怕，因为这条路承载了太多的责任。她希望帮助小镇里的人们找回年轻的心和勇敢的状态。

冯玉琼说：“我是先生书院的一个积极现象，信王军先生从我的讲述中看到先生书院存在意义的另一种可能，我也从书院获得实现自我价值的另一种可能。在喜爱的家乡做自己愿意为之坚持的事，先生书院在我面前不止是一束光，它还是我选择的独一无二的门。”

“每个人都有自己的那扇门。活着，踹开它，让它为生活增添光彩，产生共鸣，不光为自己，也为接触到的每一个人。这扇门有益、多产，它会创造价值、笑容和喜悦，它会全力以赴，回馈他人，它会被热情围绕，它也需要保护，它让我勇敢、自由且年轻，于是我热爱它、敬畏它、养育它、尊敬它。”
