【不离】法王如意宝：迄今最奢侈的记忆
愿你未来路上 有这盏不灭的明灯

勿扰他心
Do not lose your own path.
Do not disturb other’s minds.
上师法王如意宝离开我们已整十年。
Ten years have passed since our teacher His Holiness Jigme Phuntsok Rinpoche departed from us.
在上师身边的那段日子，是我人生中最美的时光，也是迄今最奢侈的记忆。
The days I spent by our teacher’s side were the most wonderful days of my life, and they remain my most extraordinary memories.
他无论到哪个国家，面对哪个民族的人群，无论是讲甚深的佛法，还是普世的道理，都会让人受益良多。
No matter where he went or what the ethnicity of his audience, whether he taught the profound Buddhadharma or spoke about ordinary, everyday life, people received great benefit.
有人说：“法王虽然尊贵，却没有丝毫高高在上的言行，他平和谦逊的状态使每个走近他的人都能感受到快乐、温暖。” “法王的魅力超过世间许多具有声望的领袖。”
I once heard someone say, “His Holiness is noble, but he does not tower over you at all with his words or actions. His gentleness and humility allow each person nearby to feel happy and warm.”
“文革”期间，佛教深受重创，十年浩劫后，是法王如意宝重振了藏传佛教。
During the Cultural Revolution, Buddhism was devastated. After ten years of catastrophe, His Holiness revitalized Tibetan Buddhism in China.
迄今为止，他也是藏地摄受汉族四众弟子最多的大德。
To this day, no other Tibetan master has taken on so many Han Chinese students of the fourfold sangha—monks, nuns, lay women, and lay men.
法王和佛陀一样，用传法的方式利益众生，他让我们通过佛法认清自己、认识世界、了知一切真相，找到解脱之路。
Like the Buddha, His Holiness benefited beings by living and teaching the Dharma. Through the Buddhadharma, he led us to see ourselves clearly, realize the truth of all things, and find the path of liberation.
200多年前，大成就者菩提金刚就曾预言：“凡与法王晋美彭措结缘者，皆可前往极乐刹土。”
As the First Dodrupchen Jigme Trinle Özer prophesied over two hundred years ago, any being that forms a connection with His Holiness Jigme Phuntsok Rinpoche can be reborn in a pure land of great bliss.
从1987年至2004年初法王圆寂期间，我一直担任他的汉文翻译，随侍左右。遗憾的是，这18年里，各种因缘使然，法王留存下的教言可谓寥寥。
From 1987 until His Holiness’s parinirvana1 in early 2004, I assumed the role of his Mandarin interpreter and served at his side as his attendant. Regrettably, due to various causes and conditions over those eighteen years, only a few of His Holiness’s teachings were preserved.
此时，法王圆寂十周年法会之际，我用尽心力搜集了他在国内外讲法的资料，从中挑选出部分教言，翻译成汉语，供养与法王有缘的你们。
On the occasion of the tenth anniversary of His Holiness’s parinirvana, I began an exhaustive search through the recordings of the teachings he gave both at home and abroad. From these, I selected some teachings and translated them as an offering to all who have an affinity with His Holiness.
无论你是否为佛弟子，这本书都会让你开卷有益。
Whether you are a student of the Buddha or not, when you open this book, you will benefit from it.
书中的每一字句，都是法王的金刚语，绝没掺杂我个人的分别念，法王座下多如繁星的弟子皆可作证。
Each word and phrase in the book is His Holiness’s vajra speech, unadulterated by my own discriminating thoughts. All of His Holiness’s direct disciples, who are as numerous as the stars, can attest to this.
书中一些教言似乎尖锐，个别人看后或许有如坐针毡之感。
Some teachings in the book are quite pointed, which may lead some readers to feel like they are sitting on a bed of needles.
但正如阿底峡尊者所言：“击中要害的批评，是最殊胜的教言；指摘弟子过失的师父，是最好的上师。”
But just as the Venerable Atisha said, “Criticisms that hit the mark are the most sublime teachings. Masters who admonish their disciples’ wrongdoings are the best mentors.”
爱之深，才会责之切。法王对某些人的严厉，犹如慈母呵斥犯错的独子，一切只因慈悲。
Truly, those who love you most are the ones who are willing to be honest with you about your mistakes. Whenever His Holiness censured students, it was like a loving mother’s reproach of an errant child. His criticism arose entirely from compassion and kindness.
在这个时代，如此振聋发聩的教言，对许多人来讲，应是从未见闻，今天，大家有缘遇到，理当好好珍惜。
In this day and age, many people have never before encountered or heard teachings like these that open the ears of the deaf and the eyes of the blind. You have the great fortune to encounter them. These are teachings to be treasured.
愿此书成为你未来前行路上不灭的明灯。
May this book be an eternal lamp, forever illuminating your path ahead.
