7月28日，国家主席习近平在亚洲基础设施投资银行（以下简称“亚投行”）第五届理事会年会视频会议开幕式上致辞。习近平对亚投行寄予厚望，建议将亚投行打造成推动全球共同发展的新型多边开发银行、与时俱进的新型发展实践平台、高标准的新型国际合作机构、国际多边合作新典范。周报君摘录了2016年以来习近平关于国际多边合作的经典语录。内容如下：

Chinese President Xi Jinping addressed the opening ceremony of the fifth annual meeting of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) via video link on July 28. Xi pinned high hopes on the AIIB and called for efforts to make the AIIB a new type of multilateral development bank that promotes development across the world, a new type of development platform progressing with the times, a new type of high-performance institution for international cooperation and a new paradigm of multilateral cooperation.
