4月26日是世界知识产权日。在世界知识产权组织发布的《2022年全球创新指数报告》中，中国排名从2013年的第35位提升至2022年的第11位，是世界上进步最快的国家之一。各细分指标表现良好，表明我国正在从知识产权引进大国向知识产权创造大国转变。国家主席习近平强调，要加强知识产权保护，推动实现依靠创新驱动的内涵型增长。周报君摘录了2017年以来习近平关于加强知识产权保护的经典语录，中英双语内容如下：
April 26 marks World Intellectual Property Day. In the Global Innovation Index 2022 report released by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), China's ranking rose from 35th place in 2013 to 11th in 2022, making it one of the fastest improving countries in the world. The solid performance across the various breakdowns indicates that China is transforming from a major intellectual property consumer to a major intellectual property producer. President Xi Jinping has stressed China will strengthen its protection of intellectual property rights, with the goal of fostering innovation-driven, higher-quality growth. Xi is also general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission.
