Last Friday, Yew Chung and Yew Wah schools linked up across the country to celebrate our annual Founder’s Day. 

上周五，全国各地的耀中和耀华学校联合起来庆祝我们一年一度的楚珩日。

As part of the celebrations, CEO and School Supervisor, Dr Betty Chan, paid a visit to YCIS Shanghai, which celebrates its 25th anniversary this year. She gave a speech to the whole Foundation via video link and took the opportunity to discuss the recent establishment of the Yew Chung College of Early Childhood Education (YCCECE) in Hong Kong.

作为此次庆祝活动的一部分，行政总裁兼校监陈保琼博士于日前访问上海耀中，恰逢其成立25周年纪念日。她通过视频直播面向整个机构发表演讲，并借此机会宣布最近在香港成立的耀中幼教学院（YCCECE）。

YCIS Beijing students and those from other Yew Chung and Yew Wah campuses in Hong Kong, Beijing, Chongqing, Qingdao, Guangzhou, Tongxiang, Lingang cametogether via a live video link to listen to Dr Chan. 

来自香港、北京、重庆、青岛、广州、桐乡、临港的耀中和耀华校区的师生也通过视频直播加入当天的活动，聆听陈博士的精彩演讲。

After her presentation, YCIS Beijing was allocated 80 seconds to greet the other campuses via live video feed. Kitted out in bright house t-shirts, our students stomped their feet, clapped and waved and unfurled a huge flag. We also streamed a 60 second video produced by Jiwon Baek (Y13), in which the history of the school was told through beautiful animations.

演讲结束后，北京耀中通过80秒的视频直播向其他校区的师生致意。我们的学生穿着明亮的学院T恤，跺着脚，拍着手，浪形舞动展开一面巨大的旗帜。我们还播放了由Jiwon Baek（13年级）制作的60秒视频，用精美的动画讲述了学校的历史。

Founder’s Day is a highlight of the school calendar, uniting our diverse worldwide community through a sense identity and pride as Yew Chung and Yew Wah students. 

楚珩日是校历的一大亮点，耀中和耀华学生的认同感和自豪感将我们多元文化全球社区紧密联系在一起。
