JAMA:预防疾病,维生素D补充剂在临床试验中屡试屡败?
除了促进钙吸收和骨骼健康,动物试验和人类观察性研究中,维生素D似乎还有更多作用,维生素D缺乏症与多种慢性疾病的风险有关,包括高血压、糖尿病、自身免疫性疾病和癌症等。

疾病会导致的户外体育活动减少,进而减少阳光促进的维生素D合成;
饮食的改变可能会减少维生素D的摄入;
慢性肾病会增加成纤维细胞生长因子,进而影响维生素D的调节……
