No new coronavirus cases reported in the city

No new cases of coronavirus infection were reported in Shanghai in the latest 12 hours as of midday Wednesday, when four patients were discharged, said the Shanghai Health Commission.

Meanwhile, another 14 suspected cases have been ruled out, said the commission.

So far, the city has reported 336 infections and ruled out 2,263 suspected cases.

Among all confirmed patients, aged between 7 months and 88 years old, 144 have traveled or lived in Hubei Province, 34 have traveled or lived in other regions, and 158 had contact history with infected persons.

The QR code which tracks taxi passengers will soon be introduced to Metro trains and buses, the Shanghai government said on Tuesday.
