Introduction about the Epic Drama

The Epic Drama involves Chinese classical dance,Chinese classical music, Chinese Opera, Chinese Kungfu, Chinese classic poetry, Traditional Chinese Painting and sitcom as the forms of art expression, based on the long Chinese History.

Phase 1: The Zhou Dynasty declined repidly since the conflicts of different politics. Established Qin Dynasty.

Phase 2: When it comes to Han Dynasty and Tang Dynasty which was one of the most prosperous dynasties in Chinese history.Tang Dynasty calligraphy enjoyed the same fame as its poem.

The silk road began in the second Century BC Han Emperor sent Zhang Qian to the western regions of the period. It is one of the greatest and most important trade routes in the world. It is a land passage connecting China and Europe, the East and the West.

Princess Wencheng as a member of a minor branch of the royal clan of the Chinese Tang Dynasty, Emperor Taizong of Tang to King Songtsen Gampo of Tibet for marriage, an involuntary actor of the emperor's heqin (marriage alliance) policy and popularly known in Tibet as Gyasa, or "Chinese wife".Wencheng was revered for being one of the diplomat brides who brought much needed positive Han Chinese culture to the peoples beyond their borders - expanding their knowledge - whom the imperial court often looked down upon as barbaric.

Xuanzang was a Chinese Buddhist monk, scholar, traveller, and translator who travelled to India in the seventh century and described the interaction between Chinese Buddhism and Indian Buddhism during the early Tang dynasty.

Phase 3: The Song dynasty (960–1279 AD) was a culturally rich and sophisticated age for China. There was blossoming of and advancements in the visual arts, music, literature, and philosophy. The poet and statesman Su Shi, his poetry and literature profited from the rising popularity and development of the ci poetry form. 

Phase 4: Followed the Song Dynasty, the Yuan dynasty established by Kublai Khan, was the first time that non-native Chinese people ruled all of China. The major cultural achievements were the development of drama and the novel and the increased use of the written vernacular. 

Phase 5: As the successor to the Yuan dynasty,the Ming dynasty rule saw the construction of a vast navy and a standing army of 1,000,000 troops. Although private maritime trade and official tribute missions from China took place in previous dynasties, the size of the tributary fleet under the Muslim eunuch admiral Zheng He in the 15th century surpassed all others in grandeur. Zheng commanded expeditionary voyages to Southeast Asia, South Asia, Western Asia, and East Africa from 1405 to 1433. 

Phase 6: During the Qing dynasty, the rulers forced Han Chinese people to change their traditional clothing into Manchu style. The cheongsam is a body-hugging one-piece Chinese dress for women, also known as Qipao.
