Italian Night
#Wines#
CHEERS stocks plenty of wine choices from a nation we know so well for pizza and pasta, art and architecture, Vespas and vino. And as we learned in last week’s quiz, there are nearly two dozen kinds of Italian wines in stock.

Italian Night (September 17th) goes a step further--let's call it wine-plus. Guests can enjoy everything from Bellinis—a mix of Prosecco and peach puree popularized 70-plus years ago in Venice—to cold cut and cheese platters. Indulge at a table inside or grab seats on the terrace out front. The party starts at 7PM.

#BUF² X CHEERS#
Saturday night will see the theme shift from wine to whiskey. As regulars know, not only has CHEERS’ wine lineup evolved over the years, but we also see a growing selection of spirits, craft beers, bottled cocktails and more.
The newest product is BUF2, a series of canned sparkling whisky RTDs – “ready-to-drink” products – that come in flavors like ‘highball’, ‘whisky lemon’ and ‘high energy.’ For Saturday’s celebration, the BUF2 team will take things up a few notches by hauling kegs of each flavor to Store 32 and pouring from 7 PM to 9 PM. For those who want to stock up, cans are available for RMB13 each, with a buy one, get one free deal until October 30.

#Beijinger Burger Fest X CHEERS#
Finally, one of the city’s most popular food events, the annual Beijinger Burger Fest, is slated from September 19 to 21.
In the spirit of this flavor fiesta, CHEERS CEO Claudia Masueger recently led a wine and burger pairing featuring cheeseburgers from Great Leap and Slider Nation, chorizo burgers from Q Mex, and Camembert burgers and Beyond Beef burgers from The Roots.
We tried a handful of wines alongside these burgers, with the soft fruity Nos Racines Merlot from France the most versatile. But each wine did find a niche, whether it was the fruity crisp Pinot Grigio with Slider Nation cheeseburgers or the Tussock Jumper Prosecco rose a nice match for the spiciness of Q Mex’s chorizo burger. Want to double-check the results? Just get a bunch of friends, open some wine, order a half-dozen burgers and have your own fest.
