As independent intercultural competence trainer/coach for cooperation and institution I have been working between cultures (Europe & Asia) focusing on behaviours and changes in society, cooperation and individuals.
My present work is mainly based on areas of Diversity and Intercultural Management. For the past 10 years I have been working as “intercultural management trainer” for mostly international corporations, such as Siemens, Volkswagen, Bosch, SAP, ABB and many other companies in Europe and in Asia with specific focus on intercultural conflict management, intercultural leadership training and multinational team work etc. Besides practical hands-on training, I am also teaching regularly at several universities in Berlin for Bachelor & Master studies of Intercultural management competence and Intercultural negotiation and organizational skills.
Ulrich Sollmann
Body-psychotherapy, supervisor and trainer.
Studies in law and social science, with focus on sociology, economy, social psychology and psychology;Certified in social science, state examination in law- and politics. Guest Professor at Shanghai University of Political Science and Law (SHUPL).
Full training in Bioenergetic Analysis, (body-) psychotherapy, Gestalt-psychotherapy; Full training in coaching, supervision and systemic consulting.
Since 1988 President of the German Association of Bioenergetic Analysis(DVBA);Member of the German-Chinese Academy of Psychotherapy (DCAP);Member of the international Institute of Bioenergetic Analysis (IIBA New York);Member of the German Association of Gestalt-Therapy (DVG); Member of the German Society of Political Consulting (degepol); Member of the German Association of Journalists (DJV).

Dr. Thomas Bruhn
Dr. Thomas Bruhn is a physicist who has been working transdisciplinarily at the IASS since 2012. His research initially focused on climate engineering and CO2 utilisation. In 2016 he began to co-lead the AMA (A Mindset for the Anthropocene) project together with Dr Zoe Lüthi on the question how the cultivation of mental qualities like mindfulness and compassion can contribute to sustainability. He has also been engaged in research on collective learning and co-creation in the context of political decision-making for sustainability since 2017. Thomas’ key ambition is to bring together a variety of stakeholders in reflexive processes that allow for the emergence of truly shared perspectives and action pathways for a context-specific implementation of specific sustainability targets.
Thomas did research on semiconductor nanomaterials in Berlin, Rome, and Marseille. Besides his research work, he is also a trained facilitator and regularly conducts group processes in the tradition of Art-of-Hosting and Design Thinking. He is a member of the thinktank30 (tt30) of the Club of Rome, the German Association of Scientists (VDW), and the board of directors of the Global Contract Foundation.
