Cover StoryThe reversed configuration of photocatalysts, composed of 0D photocatalysts (outer) and 1D or 2D cocatalysts (inner), exhibits superior properties of light absorption and charge separation with respect to the conventional one. On one hand, the competition of light absorption by co-catalysts can be avoided inreversed configurations. On the other hand, the more abundant contact interface between the photocatalysts and the co-catalysts in the reversed configuration will lead to more efficient charge separation. Thus, the reversed configuration of photocatalysts is expected to show more superior properties than the convention alone in solar-to-chemical conversions (See the article by Juhong Lian, Yu Qi, Yunfeng Bao, Zixi Yin, Yang Zhang, Nengcong Yang, Naijia Guan, Shengye Jin, Landong Li, Fuxiang Zhang on pages 771‒776).
