初冬的寒意难掩同学们对英语学习的热情和大胆展现自我的勇气，为了给同学们提供更多练习英语口语和突破自我的机会和平台，初2020级英语组于2022年11月9日在七彩广场举办了我校传统特色活动--英语演讲角。

本次英语演讲角活动，演讲者们需围绕主题“Changes（变化/改变）”自行展开讲述，共有9名同学参加，同时也有幸邀请到代校、张校、聂主任和兰主任出席此次活动，一同见证现我校初三同学们在英语学习方面的进步和成长。

演讲金句：

My biggest change is that I have fallen in love with reading, keeping away from computer games. Not only can reading enrich my knowledge, but also open up my eyes as well.

我最大的变化是我爱上了阅读，远离了电脑。阅读不仅充实了我的知识，也开阔了我的眼界。

演讲金句：

We cannot grow up without changes, and we cannot change over and over again. So we need to keep a balance between changing and insisting. We should change at the correct time and stick to something correct. Besides, it's not easy to change others, but we can get twice the result with half the effort if we change ourselves.

如果没有改变，就没有成长，但我们也不能不停的去改变。所以我们需要在改变和坚持之间掌握一个度。我们应该在合适的时候进行改变，且坚持做正确的事情。此外，改变他人很难，但改变我们自己却总是事半功倍。

You might lose something good in the process, but you will most likely gain 

something even better.
面对变化的过程中，你可能会失去一些珍贵的东西，但一路走来你会收获更多。
People, places, and feelings always change so don't resist it.
人，环境，情感，随时都在发生变化，所以不要抵触。

Embrace change, and life will always offer you something new, different, and 

interesting.
拥抱变化，这样你的生活才会更新奇新鲜而又有趣。

What do you need to change now, so you can create the future you that you really 

want to be？

你现在需要做些什么，才能打造未来那个理想的自己？
What are the big decisions you must make now, so you can live with pride tomorrow？

你现在需要做出什么决策，才能打造荣耀的明天？
Make those changes. 做出那些改变！

演讲金句：

I used to be too shy and quiet to say anything in front of the crowds. I used to have bad grades because I didn’t like reading books. However, when I entered middle school, my hobbies changed most. Now I have realized the importance of reading. Just as the old saying goes, “there’s a gold house in the book”.

从前特别害羞的我，不敢再大众面前发言。从前因为不爱阅读的原因，我的成绩也不是理想状态。但这一切在我进入中学时都改变了尤其是我的爱好。我终于意识到了阅读的重要性。就像谚语所说的，书中自有黄金屋。

演讲金句: 

I have to pay more and more attention to my study and work on learning every day. I need to do more exercises to improve my learning skills so that I can get better grades in the coming high school entrance examination.

我不得不更加关注我的学习，每天都不敢懈怠。为了在即将到来的中考中取得优异成绩，我需要做更多的练习题来提高学习技巧。

在9位同学结束演讲后，张盛副校长为本次活动作全英文点评，他要求同学们要尽可能实现脱稿演讲，在演讲前做好充分的准备，打好“腹稿”，如果刚开始很难全脱稿可以将演讲思路或关键词简单写在手卡上作为提示，不要将“演讲”变为“朗读”，而忽略了与倾听者的交流。也许这一点可以成为同学们在下一阶段英语学习或者下次全英演讲时的“改变”！
