Medicine in Microecology：医学微生态中的大数据专刊征稿(宁康、苏晓泉)

当前，数据已成为解码微生物与生态健康之间复杂关系的关键因素，为微生物学研究甚至临床的诊断与干预提供了必要的资源。与此同时，数据本身具有多组学、多形式、大体量等特点，也给数据集成、处理、挖掘和解读带来了新的挑战。本期特刊聚焦“医学微生态中的大数据”，包括大数据处理新技术与新策略、高质量的数据库或数据资源、以及由数据驱动的生物学新发现，从而为微生态领域的研究和应用激发出新方法和新思路。

About the journalMedicine in Microecology is an open access, peer-reviewed journal published by Elsevier, accepted by Scopus for inclusion.It is an official journal of Southern Medical University.

Issue

"Big-data in medical microecology"

Data has become a crucial factor in research on the medical microecology, which providing the resource for novel biological finding and even the clinical diagnosis. On the other side, high-volume in multiple omics and multiple form also put new challenges in data integration, data processing, data mining and data interpretation. 

This special issue is focused on the “Big-data in medical microecology”, which will highlight the latest studies on new technique or strategy for big-data processing, well-organized database or repository, and biological insights found by data-driven research under this area.
