America added 245,000 jobs in November, down from 610,000 in October. It is the fifth consecutive month that job growth has slowed; the unemployment rate is 6.7%. Transport and professional services added jobs, while the number of jobs in government and retail declined. The winding down of the census accounted for the loss of 93,000 temporary government workers.
