杜梦堂DUMONTEIL荣幸参展2021年第八届「西岸艺术与设计博览会」，展位号B207，呈现来自八位国内外艺术家的精选作品。此次画廊在西岸展出的大部分作品均是首次在国内亮相，其中包括尚-马理·费欧理(Jean-Marie Fiori)的功能性雕塑，翁纪军和文森·漆(Vincent Cazeneuve)以大漆为媒介的最新创作，以及画廊新晋挖掘的四位法国新锐艺术家的近期新作，包括：雨果·德维切尔(Hugo Deverchère)的驻留项目作品，查尔斯·哈斯科埃特(Charles Hascoët)和布鲁诺·加丹纳(Bruno Gadenne)的油画作品，以及雨果·席德(Ugo Schildge)的雕塑性绘画。同时，展位还将展出丹尼尔·达维欧(Daniel Daviau)的大型公共雕塑作品。DUMONTEIL is delighted to announce its participation in the 8th edition of West Bund Art and Design Fair, booth B207, featuring selected works from eight national and international artists.The majority of this selection is being shown for the first time in China, including Jean-Marie Fiori’s functional sculpture, Weng Jijun and Vincent Cazeneuve's latest creations in the medium of lacquer, and the most recent works by four emerging French artists, newly discovered by the gallery, among which are Hugo Deverchère’s latest series “la Isla de las Siete Ciudades”, oil on canvas by Charles Hascoët and Bruno Gadenne, and sculptural paintings by Ugo Schildge. Besides the above, the booth will also feature a monumental sculpture by Daniel Daviau.

雨果·席德以天然色粉、黏土、木材和石膏等多种材料，模糊了绘画和雕塑，画布和媒介，控制和自由之间的界限，并创造了一种在具象与抽象，把控与实验性，以及技巧与观感之间的动态平衡。此次带来的《贝母色梧桐》和《盛开的梧桐》既是席德对「自然的生息」这一主题的延续，也是他对2018年在上海驻留的回忆。Ugo Schildge has developed a new approach on wood panel with materials including but not limited to wood strips, natural pigments, plaster, which questions the traditional form of an artwork, blurring the border between painting and sculpture, canvas and media, control, and freedom, and creating a perpetual come and go between figurative and abstract, conscious and unconscious, technique and illusion. In “Pearly Platane” and “Platane in Bloom”, Schildge continues his research into the cycle of Nature, while reminiscing his residency in Shanghai in 2018.

查尔斯·哈斯科埃特擅长用绘画分享其生活日常，思想和情感。艺术家将自己的个人经历化为充满趣味的谜题，使观众置身于真实与想象不断碰撞的思维状态之中。
《昼钓》与《夜钓》是哈斯科埃特告别「大海深处」后开启的新旅程。画作延续了他对亮色和荧光色的偏爱，在蓝与绿的基调下探索海天之间的各种可能。Charles Hascoët shares his daily life, thoughts, and emotions through painting. The artist weaves his personal experiences into intriguing puzzles that guide the viewers into a journey between the tangible and the imaginary.“Day Fishing” and “Night Fishing” are new trips that Hascoët has embarked on since his departure from the “The Deep”. Consistent with his preference for bright and fluorescent colors, the two paintings explore the variations between seas and skies in a palette based on blues and greens.

雨果·德维切尔致力于探讨科学、技术以及它们的新型表现形式如何重塑我们的视野、知识、观念，乃至对周围环境的感知。此次我们将同时展出艺术家的两个系列：《七城之岛》和《万象-记录》。
《七城之岛》 (la Isla de las Siete Ciudades) 是艺术家在Casa de Velazquez学院(法兰西学院位于西班牙马德里的高等学院）艺术家驻留项目中完成的最新系列 ，探索了伊比利亚生物群落。
Hugo Deverchère explores how science, technology, and their new modes of representation shape our eyes, our knowledge, our consciousness, and the perception of our close and distant environment.“La Isla de las Siete Ciudades” explores the Iberian biotopes that might have been at the origin of the story of the mythical Seven Cities of Gold, ghost islands whose precise location varies considerably across centuries. “Strange worlds are drawn from our own, they are neither real nor fake, and Deverchere's landscapes tell us these stories. ”[1]

《万象 - 记录》 (Cosmorama - Recordings) 致力于探索并将不可见的光谱层可视化。这一系列被分为几个不同类别，与位于西班牙特内里费岛的泰德天文台合作完成。恒星星团由望远镜拍摄，图像由宇宙暗物质绘图法绘制而成：与某颗流星的组成相似的火山石碎片，在NASA测试火星探测器好奇号的熔岩沙漠里采集到的动物信息，在见证大陆五千万年变迁的原始森林里收集到的植物形状—这一系列将历史与当下接轨，重建起一个超越空间和时间限制的世界。
“Cosmorama - Recordings” explores and gives tangible form to an inaccessible stratum of the lighting spectrum. Divided into a few subsections from pieces of volcanic rocks which composition is similar to some meteors, signs of animal presence collected in a lava desert, plant shapes gathered in a primal forest witnessing the state of our continent 50 million years ago: this series rebuilds a world out of the world disrupting and transcending spatial and temporal scales.

布鲁诺·加丹纳的作品与自然和风景相关，其灵感来源于他在世界各地的旅行，他以旅行中的照片和写生为创作基础，通过绘画改变景观的特征营造一种奇异的氛围。
加丹纳擅于用油彩处理光线的渲染和透明层次的深浅，创造一种张力以不可思议的惊奇感。在《航行通道》中，透光的红绿色调吸引观者在看似宁静的图像感受奇异的氛围和潜藏的不安。
Bruno Gadenne’s work relates to landscape and nature, inspired by his travels around the world, using photographs and sketches as a basis for his artworks. Using oil paint, he creates a strangeness by diverting some of the landscape features. He tries to create tension by playing with the rendering of light and the deepness of transparent layers, establishing a double play between wonder and an uncanny feeling. In the Navigable Passage, the translucent red and green draw the viewer into a strange, unsettling atmosphere in the seemingly tranquil image.
