Shenzhen Metro Operating Hours Extended Sept 30th & Oct 1st
The State Council's holiday arrangement for this Double Festival is from October 1st to the 8th; a total of eight days, with September 27 (Sunday) and October 10 (Saturday) becoming working days to make up for the extra days off.
To meet the travel needs of citizens during the holiday, Shenzhen Metro will extend their operating service time, and increase the capacity of the network from September 30 to October 1st and the subway line network will close one hour later. The Adjusted operating hours are 06:20am to 24:00.
Other important notes:
Lines 1, 3, 6, 9, and 10 will continue to run their last trains halfway.
Line 2 to Chiwan will be extended an additional 30 minutes til 00:30.
To improve operational service quality, from October 1st, new Metro Lines 6 and 10, will add 2 new trains each during peak hours. The interval between trains will be compressed by 32 seconds and 35 seconds respectively.
Shenzhen Metro Reminder:Try to travel in advance during the holidays. Plan your routes appropriately and travel during off peak times. Continue to cooperate with the subway epidemic prevention and control workers.
