原文
平原新区，地处中原腹地、黄河之滨，与河南省省会郑州一河之 隔、六桥相连，是郑州大都市区的新兴增长中心、郑新融合发展的第一节点、沿黄生态经济带建设的核心区域。现域面积353平方公里，下辖五个乡镇一个办事处，总人口约40万人。

Pingyuan New Area is located in the heartland of Henan and linked with the provincial capital Zhengzhou through six bridges across the Yellow River. It is the emerging growth pole of the Zhengzhou Metropolis Circle, the bridgehead of the integrated development of Zhengzhou and Xinxiang, and the core area of the eco-economic belt along the Yellow River. With an area of 353 square kilometers and a population of about 400,000, the New Area administers five towns and one subdistrict.

5. boast的意思
多次有人查字典然后质疑说它意思是自夸炫耀吹嘘，但吹嘘是boast of，实际我们经常用到的句型里它不是这个意思
总结
boast的意思就是“有”，表达的意思是“拥有（好东西）”，我们平时翻译时经常会用于公司介绍等，例如
The company boasts a R&D team comprised of professional talents within a staff of 128 members.
公司拥有一支优秀专业人士组成的研发团队，现有员工128人。
6. English likes to start a sentence with a noun subject.
7. Character + action 结构
make main characters the subjects of your verbs; make those characters' important actions as verbs.
1a. There is opposition among many voters to nuclear power plants based on a belief in their threat to human health.
1b. Many voters oppose nuclear power plants because they believe that such plants threaten human health.
2a. Thereis a belief among some researchers that consumers' choices in fast food restaurants would be healthier if there were postings of nutrition information in their menus.
2b. Some researchers believe that consumers would choose healthier foods if fast food companies posted nutrition information in their menus.
8. Be a translator + polisher!
译后三问
First, is my version clear (no pronouns without plain antecedents, no misplaced or dangling modifiers, no expressions so vague or so highly condensed as to be incomprehensible)?
第一，译文是否简洁明了（代词是否缺少先行词，修饰语位置是否放错或悬垂，某些词是否因太模糊、太简缩不易理解）？
Second, is my version logical (right emphasis, parallel structure where appropriate, logical connectives where needed)?
第二，译文是否合乎逻辑（该强调点是否正确、平行结构是否恰当、是否使用必要逻辑连词）？
Third, is my version as tight and as light as possible (no unnecessary or repetitive words and an absolute minimum of abstract nouns)?
第三，译文是否紧凑、不拖沓（是否有冗词、赘词，是否用了不必要的抽象名词）
