为促进国内外学者交流最新的公司治理研究思想，清华大学公司治理研究中心将于2019年12月13日，在清华大学经济管理学院召开2019清华大学公司治理国际会议。本次会议邀请到多位来自美国的知名教授担任主讲嘉宾，与参会人员共同分享在公司治理的最新研究成果，并通过国内外学术交流，进一步推动公司治理研究向更深层次发展。会议安排如下：

二、会议主题发言人

Siew Hong Teoh

Deans Professor of Accounting

Paul Merage School of Business   University of California, Irvine

Professor Teoh’s work on earnings management has been praised by scholars in accounting and finance for the important finding that the market seems not to efficiently impound management’s actions into security prices.

She has served on the faculty at UCLA, University of Michigan, and The Ohio State University. She has published widely in leading journals in Accounting, Finance, and Economics. They include The Accounting Review, Journal of Accounting Research, Journal of Accounting and Economics, Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Economics, Review of Financial Studies, and the Rand Journal of Economics.

She also recently was awarded the Moskowitz Prize for best paper on socially responsible investing from the Social Investment Forum.

  Qi Chen

     Martin L. Black Jr. Professor Duke University

Professor Chen's research interests lie in the intersections between economics, finance and accounting, with a focus on the role of information and incentives in financial markets and within firms, including the effect of information on firms’ investment decisions, the role of incentive on accounting systems, corporate governance, and security analysts’ behaviors. His recent research has examined the effects of bank mergers in firms’ disclosure behaviors, and the effects of China’s split share structure reform and of China’s bank market development on Chinese companies’ financial policies and performance.

His research has been published in leading finance and accounting journals, including Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Economics, Review of Financial Studies, Journal of Accounting Research and Journal of Accounting and Economics.

Professor

Director, Guanghua-Rotman Centre for Information and Capital Market Research

Hai Lu is Professor of Accounting at Rotman School of Management where he conducts research on insider trading, securities valuation, corporate governance, and Chinese capital market. He is currently interested in field studies and unstructured data analysis. Professor Lu is the founding director of Guanghua-Rotman Centre for Information and Capital Market Research. He is Editor of Contemporary Accounting Research.
