之前，学校曾宣布，将在每周一发布开学日期及教职员工返校日期的最新变更通知。然而，疫情不断变化，学校根据省教育厅的最新精神，结合自身实际情况以及对师生健康安全的考虑，决定对返校日期做出如下调整：

1. 学生返校日期：具体日期待定。浙江省内所有高校学生返校均须得到地方政府的同意。学校将密切关注，如有消息，第一时间通过官网、官微和邮件等官方渠道发布。

2. 学术教师最晚返校日期：2020年3月16日。

3. 线上教学开启日期：2020年3月2日。

Dear students and staff,

I last wrote on 5 February 2020 informing you how we would communicate with you and of the planned return dates to campus for students and staff.

You will be aware the situation surrounding the coronavirus (COVID – 19) is constantly changing. On advice from the Zhejiang Education Department and as the health and safety of our students and staff is our overriding priority we have postponed the return dates for students and teaching staff.

For students we cannot give a precise return date at this moment as we need approval from the local government and health authorities. This is the same for all universities in Ningbo and across Zhejiang. We will keep you continually informed of the situation.

Teaching staff should now be on campus by 16 March 2020.

Online teaching will begin as planned on 2 March 2020.
