前言
2020年12月29日是小编的生日，当天碰巧受到同学邀请，前往北川羌族民俗博物馆（Beichuan Qiang Ethnic Folklore Museum）观摩，整个旅程说说笑笑、汉英夹杂、吃吃喝喝、拍这拍那，非常愉快，行程结束后感觉自己身上又多了一股四川历史的气息。

北川羌族民俗博物馆肯定是位于四川省绵阳市大禹故里北川县境内，由下图可见，该县面向银河系的宣传口号是：大禹故里，中国羌城，大爱北川。
其英译为：
大禹何许人也？Who on earth is Da Yu? Great Yu? Yu the Great?
维基百科解释如下：
鲧 gǔn 禹 yǔ 治水（也称作大禹治水）是中国汉族先民的上古大洪水传说。三皇五帝时期，大约4000年前，黄河泛滥，鲧与儿子大禹先后受命于舜帝，任崇伯和夏伯，负责治水。
Yu the Great (大禹) (c. 2123–2025 BC) was a legendary king in ancient China who was famed for his introduction of flood control, his establishment of the Xia dynasty which inaugurated dynastic rule in China, and his upright moral character. He figures prominently in the Chinese legend of "Great Yu Who Controlled the Waters" (Chinese: 大禹治水; pinyin: Dà Yǔ Zhì Shuǐ).
博物馆内，大禹治水的英译为：DA YU TAMED THE FLOODS。
我虽不是砖家，但认为 TAMED 应该改为 TAMES。
原因：大禹治水虽为历史传说，但因其用作描述一幅画，故应改写成：
DA YU TAMES THE FLOODS

议话坪，羌语称“尔母孜巴”，羌寨遇有重大事情，要召集大家在议话坪集会，共同商议解决。
Yihuaping, named Er Mu Zi Ba in Qiang(ic) language/dialect, referred to the lawn on which villagers make decisions by discussions. All the members in the Qiang fortress village would be summoned to discuss solutions to issues of great importance.注：召集和共同，意思重复，故用 summon 即可概括。
古代议话坪议题是羌丁武装、推选寨首及决定出兵打仗等事宜，近代主要是制订乡规民约、解决纠纷和封山育林等公共事务。
In ancient times, the issues discussed on the lawn were ranging from young armed forces, the election of the village head, and the declaration of war (on other villages). While in modern times, they were transformed into various public affairs including the development of regulations and conventions, the settlement of disputes, as well as the afforestation of mountains.
注：议题和事宜，意思重复，故用 issues 即可概括。是并非简单地解释成 be 动词，而需添加其他动词，显化议题的演化或转变过程，故使用 transform into。
