封面解读



Earth, our home, covered by 70% water and 30% land, has been nurturing splendid human civilizations and flourishing lives. The cover tries to describe the Earth’s evolution by merging an unknown planet in a unified scene with different landscapes, such as glaciers, deserts, oceans, mountains, rivers, and magma. The contrast between the past to present can well illustrate our respect for our motherland. To build a better future, understanding, caring, and protecting the Earth is  the duty of all humankind.

本期封面主题:地球科学

地球,人类赖以生存的家园。经过长时间的演化,地球才呈现出三分陆地七分海洋的格局,孕育出灿烂的文明和繁茂的生物。本期封面以映射的手法,将一个未知星球的冰原、荒漠、海洋、高山、大河、熔岩等元素融合而成,并与现实地球遥相呼应,承接着对地球的敬畏。如何准确认识、呵护并努力建设更好的家园?这不仅是地球科学研究的范畴,更是多学科合作努力的方向!
