英文绘本故事｜Bear wants more 小熊想要更多

When springtime comes, in his warm winter dena bear wakes up very hungry and thin!

春天来了，在温暖的洞里苏醒的小熊又饿又瘦。

He waddles outside and roots all around.  

他一摇一晃地走到洞外，

He digs and he paws fresh shoots from the ground. 

用它的爪子把地里的根和新芽都刨了出来。

He nibbles on his lawn till the last blade is gone. 

他轻轻地咬着草坪上的草，直到草坪上最后的叶片都被他吃掉了。

But the bear wants more.

但是，小熊还想要更多。

Mouse scampers by with his acorn pail.  

小老鼠提着他的橡树果，

"Come along,"Mouse squeaks, "to Strawberry Vale!"

吱吱地说：“跟我来，去草莓谷！”

So up Mouse hops onto Bear's big back. 

于是，小老鼠跳上了小熊宽大的后背。

They tromp through the woods for a fresh fruit snack.

他们穿过森林，找到了新鲜的水果点心。

The berries grow sweet, and they eat,eat,eat! 

草莓特别甜，所以他们就一直吃，吃，吃！

But the bear wants more!

但是熊熊想要吃更多！

The noon sun glows, when along hops Hare.  

中午到了，太阳很炽热，这时兔子来了。

"Good day, friend Mouse! 

“嗨，老鼠兄弟！小熊朋友，

How do, friend Bear?"

你们今天过得如何啊？”

"I'm HUNGRY!" roars Bear. 

“我很饿！”小熊大声说道。

 Hare says "Follow me!  

兔子说；“跟我来，

There's a fresh clover patch by the cottonwood tree."

在棉白杨旁有一块很新鲜的苜蓿地。”

They nibble on their lunch, with a crunch, crunch, crunch!  

他们一起嘎扎嘎扎地吃了午餐。

But the bear wants more!

但是小熊还想吃更多！

Badger shuffles by with his new fishin  pole. 

这时，獾提着他的新鱼竿慢悠悠地走过。

 “There’s a fine fish feast at the ol  fishin' hole."

“我们有鱼竿可以去钓鱼吃咯！”

They head to the pond and they sit by the shore.  

他们一起来到池塘，坐在岸边。

Bear catches fish,...

小熊抓着鱼吃...

but he still wants more!

但是他还是想要吃更多！

Meanwhile…

这时候

back at the big bear's den wait Gopher and Mole with Raven and Wren.

他的朋友小黄鼠，鼹鼠，乌鸦和鹪鹩来到他的洞里。

They bake honey cakes.  

他们为小熊烤制了蜂蜜蛋糕，

They decorate the lair.  

装饰了他的洞穴，

It's a springtime party for their good friend Bear!

他们还要为熊熊开个春天的派对！

Bear rubs at his tummy.  

小熊摸了摸肚子，

He smells something YUMMY…And he still wants more!

他闻到了香喷喷的味道，他还想要吃更多！

Bear sniffs and he snuffles as a sweet breeze blows.  

一阵微风吹来，小熊嗅了嗅，好甜。

He romps to his home.  He follows his nose.  

他顺着香味，轻快地跑回了家。

His friends yell "SURPRISE!" when he gets to his den.  

“惊喜！”小熊跑到他的小洞的时候，他的朋友大声说道。

But Bear is SO big…

但是，熊熊太大了...

That he cannot fit in! 

他挤不进去了！

Bear wails, 

小熊非常难过，

"What luck! I am stuck, stuck, stuck..in my own front door!"

“真倒霉，我卡住了，卡住了，还卡在了我自己家的门里！”

Mouse squeaks, "Poor Bear. He is wedged too tight." 

小老鼠吱吱地说，“可怜的熊熊，他卡得太紧了。”

Hare tugs, Raven pushes with all of their might. 

兔子和乌鸦都在尽他们最大的努力帮着拽他。

Badger gets a stick and he pries SO hard…

獾用他的钓鱼竿使劲儿的撬啊撬啊……

That pops out bear and he lands in his yard! 

小熊嘭地摔了出来，摔在了院子里。

Since Bear is SO WIDE, they party outside.  

小熊太胖了，于是他们决定在外面开派对。

And he still wants more!

但是，他还是想要更多。

Bear opens presents; he gobbles honey cakes.

小熊打开了朋友们送他的礼物，他狼吞虎咽地吃着蜂蜜蛋糕，  

He eats SO much that his big tummy aches. 

他吃得太多，肚子都疼了。

He snuggles in the grass and he snores big snores.  

他舒服地躺在草地上打起了呼噜。

He is full, full, full…but…his friends want more!

熊熊已经非常饱，非常饱了，但是...他的朋友想要吃更多了！
