Xi made the remarks in Beijing when chairing the Extraordinary China-Africa Summit on Solidarity against COVID-19 on June 17.

农业农村部表示，由于夏粮种植面积稳定、产量提高，今夏我国将迎来粮食大丰收。2020年夏粮面积4亿亩，截至6月15日，全国夏粮收获已到九成。

China will see a bumper harvest of grains this summer thanks to stable grain acreage and improved crop yields, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs said. Summer grain acreage is 400 million mu (about 26.67 million hectares) this year. As of June 15, 90% of summer grains have been harvested.

6月15日，第127届中国进出口商品交易会（广交会）正式开幕。这是广交会有史以来第一次完全在网上举办。本届广交会会期10天，海内外近2.6万家企业、16个大类的180万件商品参展。平台提供全天候网上推介、供采对接、在线洽谈等服务。

The 127th China Import and Export Fair, popularly known as Canton Fair, kicked off online on June 15, a first for the decades-old trade fair, in south China's Guangdong province. This year's online fair, which will last for 10 days, has attracted around 26,000 enterprises in 16 categories with 1.8 million products. The fair will provide round-the-clock services, including online exhibitions, promotion, business docking and negotiations.
