现场 LIVE |《艺术家讨论 ARTIST TALK》亚历山大·巴瓦德 Alexandre Bavard

2019年7月20号下午，在艺术家亚历山大·巴瓦德（Alexandre Bavard）浓浓的法式口音里，工作室画廊最新一期的《艺术家讨论》正式开始了，现场的气氛也被艺术家的能量和他有趣的艺术成长经历很快地激活了。

July 20th afternoon, with a strong French accent of artist Alexandre Bavard, our latest issue of ARTIST TALK was revealed in the studio Gallery_Gallery Space. The atmosphere was right away activated by the artist's energy and his interesting stories of becoming an artist.

艺术家从最早的街头涂鸦到雕塑再到电影、表演、服装设计、编导、3D扫描、交互技术逐步走到今天的创作格局。而这个过程中，

“我想要的是创造一种特殊的体验，一种充满能量、无法用某种固定媒介去表达的体验！”

From a graffiti-obsessed artist to Sculpture then to Film, to Performance, to Costume Design, to Script Writer, to 3D  scan tech to Interaction tech...

正如 Alexandre 说的，什么叫涂鸦，涂鸦不是拿着喷漆在画布上画自己的名字，而是一种非常刺激的能量体验。要知道，在明知不合法的情况下在公共空间留下自己的涂鸦符号，这必须非常迅速、连贯肯定的完成自己的作品，而且要很大，因为尺幅够大才能引起人们的注意啊。只要想到自己的符号能在极短的时间内被很多人看到，更何况你还挑战了某种社会秩序，这多刺激啊！

Just as Alexandre said, what is graffiti? Graffiti is not a painting with your name sprayed on canvas, but a very exciting energy experience. You know, if you leave your names (graffiti symbols) in public space, you have to finish your work super quickly and consistently, and it should be very big because you want it large enough to attract people's attention. How exciting it is! just imagine, your name or your symbols will be seen by people in a few seconds or minutes, and you knew, it's all Illegal!

所以说，身体的移动所产生的体验才是那个最不可被替代，最撩拨艺术家心弦的东西！

而体验可以通过文字，可以通过雕塑，也可以通过表演或是电影，甚至一场对话被传达! 对Alexandre来说，他没有固定的方式，始终保持开放，始终在尝试，一直都在路上！

So, the body movement brought up Experience! 

This experience is something irreplaceable and charming for the artist!

Experience can be conveyed through words, through sculpture, through performances, through movies, or even through a TALK event.

For Alexandre Bavard, he has no limits, no fixed mediums, always open, always try, 

always on his WAY!
