骂了人，请马上念“嗡班匝萨埵吽”
To Counteract Harmful Speech, Chant OM VAJRASATTVA HUM
现在，不少人喜欢给别人取绰号，叫什么大鼻子、小眼睛、小个子、大胖子……，甚至还有更不堪入耳的。
A lot of people like to give others nicknames, calling them Big Nose, Small Eyes, Shorty, Fatty, and other names that are even more offensive.
其实，如果你经常叫人“大胖子”，那自己五百世可能会转生为大胖子，
Actually, if you often call others Fatty, then in the next five hundred lives you might take birth as a fat person yourself,
一不小心就造下了令自己后悔的恶业。
having carelessly committed unwholesome actions that you will later regret.
我的根本上师托嘎如意宝，常讲给别人取外号的果报，并引华智仁波切在《大圆满前行》中的公案说：
My root teacher Thupga Rinpoche often taught on the effect of name-calling and would cite a story in Patrul Rinpoche’s Words of My Perfect Teacher:
一个人曾用十八种动物头的绰号辱骂他人，
There was once a person who abused others by using the names of eighteen types of animal heads.
结果就转生成了有十八个动物头的怪物。
Later he was reborn as a monster with the heads of eighteen animals.
其实，口业是最容易造的，所以智者从不随便多言。
As a matter of fact, the karma of speech is the easiest to produce, and thus the wise never speak carelessly.
他们常以圣者的教言，观察自己说话的时机、环境、轻重，然后才说些有必要的话语。
They often rely on the teachings of the noble ones to observe the timing, setting, and tone of their speech, and then they say only what is necessary.
我们平时也一定要谨小慎微，管好自己的嘴巴，不要随意对人恶言相向。
In our daily lives we also need to be scrupulously cautious, control our tongues, and not willfully hurl harsh words at others.
假如自己因业力现前，控制不住骂了人，
If because of the manifestation of your karma you lose control and swear at someone,
也应马上念“嗡班匝萨埵吽”至少一千遍，乃至十万遍。
you should immediately chant OM VAJRASATTVA HUM at least one thousand times, or even one hundred thousand times.
以此咒力的不可思议加持，可以忏净任何可怕的业障。
Through the inconceivable blessing of this mantra you can purify any terrifying karmic obscuration.
