怪物游行

The air outside is cold.

外面的空气变得很寒冷。

The leaves are turning gold.

树叶正慢慢变成金黄色。

"Hooray! Hooray!"the children say.

“万岁！万岁！”孩子们欢呼着。

It's Halloween today.

今天是万圣节前夜！

Time for Pumpkins!

做南瓜灯的时候到啦！

Time for treats!

上门要糖的时候到啦！

Time for costumes!

变装的时候到啦！

Time for sweets.

吃糖的时候到啦！

Time to sing and time to shout!

唱歌喊叫的时间到啦！

Time for monsters to come out!

怪物出动的时候到啦！

天哪，万圣夜的大街上到处都是假扮的怪物。

Monsters big and monsters small.

Monsters walk and monsters crawl.

大怪物和小怪物、走路的怪物和爬行的怪物。

Monsters marching two by two.

两个两个前进的怪物。

Monsters marching right by you!

从你身旁经过的怪物。

Silly monsters, scary monsters

傻乎乎的怪物，吓人的怪物

happy monsters, hairy monsters.

开心的怪物，多毛的怪物。

Furry monsters,fluffy monsters,

盖着毛皮的怪物，毛茸茸的怪物，

purple monsters, puffy monsters!

紫色的怪物，充气的怪物。

Monsters hungry .Monsters eat.

小怪物们饿了,要吃东西了。

Monsters find a tasty treat!

他们找到了一顿美味的大餐！

Monsters munching, monsters crunching, monsters chomping, monsters stomping!

小怪物们大口大口地吃，嘎吱嘎吱地嚼，咯吱咯吱地咬，咚咚咚咚跺脚！

Monsters go from door to door.

小怪物们挨家挨户地敲门讨糖。

The street's a giant candy store!

街道变成了一家巨大的糖果店。

They fill their bags with more and more.

他们不停地往袋子里塞更多的糖果，这时一只小怪物困了，打起了呼噜。

Then one monster starts to snore.

于是，打呼噜的小怪物被爸爸抱回了家。

Soon another starts to droop.

很快，另一只小怪物脑袋耷拉了下来。

She drifts to sleep on her front stoop.

她在前门的台阶上迷迷糊糊地睡着了。

It's getting very late.

夜深了。

Monsters try to keep awake.

可小怪物们还在努力地保持清醒。

Now the moon is high and bright.

明月高悬，清辉满地。

Monsters start to say good night.

怪物们开始互道晚安。

Monsters wave goodbye to friends.

怪物们互相挥手告别。

Halloween is at its end.

万圣节到此圆满结束。

Sleepy monsters, tucked in tight.

小怪物们都很困了，紧紧地裹在被窝里睡着了。

Good night, monsters.Sweet dreams tonight.
