October 1, 2023 marks the 74th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. Rising economic strength is vital for national development. Only with economic growth can a country be prosperous and strong and people's desire for a better life be realized. President Xi Jinping said it should be emphasized that during the new era and at the new stage China must follow the new development philosophy and ensure high-quality growth. Xi is also general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission.
