教学内容:绘本 The very hungry caterpillar


教学目标:

1. 学生读懂绘本内容,理解故事情节。

2. 学生阅读绘本后用自己的语言简短概括故事内容,初步复述故事内容。

3. 学生在阅读绘本的过程中享受绘本阅读,乐于阅读绘本内容,为今后进一步的绘本阅读打好基础。


教学简案:

Pre-reading

1.Warming-up activity


2. Talk about the insect the students like.

T: What insect do you like? Why?

T: What books about insects do you know?


3. Tell the students that today they’re going to read a book about a caterpillar.


4. Talk about the cover of the book.

  T: Do you like this caterpillar? Why or why not?

  T: Can you guess the name of the book from the cover?


5. Show the students the name of the book: The very hungry caterpillar

  T: Do you have any questions about this very hungry caterpillar?

(The teacher writes down the questions on the blackboard.)


6. Listen to the story (Just listen to the beginning and the end of the story)

  T: Some pages in this book are missing. Can you guess the missing part of the story?

(此部分重点培养学生有根据地进行读前推测与想象,为下一步学生阅读故事做好铺垫。)


While-reading

1. Read the pictures and find out the food the caterpillar eats.

  T: Now you know what he eats, can you say them in English?

(第一次阅读通过零散的故事图片得知毛毛虫吃了些什么,学会其英语表达。)


2. Ask the students to read the pictures again and make their own picture books.

T: Now could you read the pictures again and pay attention to the words which can show you the sequence, make your picture books according to them.

(第二次阅读通过文字中时间标志性的词语为图片排序,制作出自己的绘本。)


3. Read the story with the teacher together.

(第三次阅读试着与教师一起读故事,验证自己的绘本是否符合原著。)


4. Answer the questions on the blackboard. 

T: So now you know the whole story, have you got the answers to the questions?


5. Read the picture book again, try to tell the story.

(第四次阅读为说故事以及概括故事做好准备。)


6. Talk about some of the pictures in the picture book according to the story line.


Post-reading

1. Share the picture book with others.

T: Try to make a recommendation card for your picture book.


2. Introduce the writer and illustrator of the book---Eric Carle


3. Tell the students more information about Eric Carle and his books. 

(通过一本绘本的阅读以及教师的介绍让学生了解绘本作者,接触到更多的优秀的绘本,扩大学生的阅读面,进一步引领学生走进绘本的世界。)

《好饿好饿的毛毛虫》

绘本内容

适读年龄:2-6岁

内容简介:

月光下,一个小小的卵躺在树叶上,一个星期天的早晨,暖暖的太阳升起来


“啪!”从卵壳里钻出一条又瘦又饿的毛毛虫。他四下寻找着可以吃的东西。

星期一,他啃穿了一个苹果。可他还是觉得饿。星期二,他啃穿了两个梨子,可他还是觉得饿。星期三,他啃穿了三个李子,可他还是饿。星期四,他啃穿了四个草莓,可他还是饿得受不了。星期五,他啃穿了五个桔子,可他还是饿呀。星期六,他啃穿了一块巧克力蛋糕,一个冰淇淋蛋筒,一条酸黄瓜,一片瑞士奶酪,一截萨拉米香肠,一根棒棒糖,一角樱桃馅饼,一段红肠,一只杯形蛋糕,还有一块甜西瓜。 到了晚上,他就胃痛起来!

第二天,又是星期天。 毛毛虫啃穿了一片可爱的绿树叶,这一回他感觉好多了。现在他一点儿也不饿了——他也不再是一条小毛虫了。他是一条胖嘟嘟的大毛虫了。他绕着自己的身子,造了一座叫做“茧”的小房子。他在那里面呆了两个多星期。然后,他就在茧壳上啃出一个洞洞,钻了出来……。他已经是一只美丽的蝴蝶了!


如果说有一条虫子能一路畅通无阻地从一个国家爬到另一个国家,那么就是它了! 三十多年来,这条从艾瑞克·卡尔手里爬出来的红脑壳、绿身子、高高地弓起来走路的毛毛虫,已经“吞噬”了世界上二千多万个孩子的心。 这是一本充满了诗情与创意的图画书。


绘本内容具体展示:

In the light of the moon, a little egg lay on the leaf.

月光下,一个小小的卵,躺在树叶上

One Sunday morning, the warm sun came up, and“pop”, out off the egg came a tiny and very hungry caterpillar.

一个星期天的早晨,暖暖的太阳升起来了——啪!——从卵壳里钻出一条又瘦又饿的毛毛虫。


He started to look for some food.

他四下寻找着可以吃的东西。


On Monday, he ate through one apple, but he was still hungry.

星期一,他啃穿了一个苹果。可他还是觉得饿。

On Tuesday, he ate through two pears, but he was still hungry.

星期二,他啃穿了两个梨子,可他还是觉得饿。


On Wednesday, he ate through three plums, but he was still hungry.

星期三,他啃穿了三个李子,可他还是饿。


On Thursday he ate through four strawberries, but he was still hungry.

星期四,他啃穿了四个草莓,可他还是饿得受不了。

On Friday he ate through five oranges, but he was still hungry.

星期五,他啃穿了五个桔子,可他还是饿呀。


On Saturday he ate through one piece of chocolate cake, one ice-cream cone, one pickle, one slice of swiss cheese, one slice of salarmi, one lollipop, one piece of cherry pie, one sausage, one cupcake and one slice of watermelon. 
That night, he had a stomachache!

星期六,他啃穿了一块巧克力蛋糕,一个冰淇淋蛋筒,一条酸黄瓜,一片瑞士奶酪,一截萨拉米香肠,一根棒棒糖,一角樱桃馅饼,一段红肠,一只杯形蛋糕,还有一块甜西瓜。 到了晚上,他就胃痛起来!


The next day was Sunday again. 
The caterpillar ate through one nice green leaf, and after that he felt much better.

第二天,又是星期天。 毛毛虫啃穿了一片可爱的绿树叶,这一回他感觉好多了。

Now he wasn't hungry anymore, and he wasn't the little caterpillar anymore. 
He was a big, fat caterpillar.

现在他一点儿也不饿了——他也不再是一条小毛虫了。他是一条胖嘟嘟的大毛虫了。



He built a small house, called a cocoon, around himself. 
He stayed inside for more than two weeks. 
Then he nibbled a hole in the cocoon, pushed his way out and...

他绕着自己的身子,造了一座叫做“茧”的小房子。他在那里面呆了两个多星期。

然后,他就在茧壳上啃出一个洞洞,钻了出来…


He was a beautiful butterfly!

他已经是一只美丽的蝴蝶了!

星期的名称Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday;
