导读

今天介绍的Happy Alphabet!，是世界上最大的童书出版社美国兰登书屋畅销25年的经典分级阅读：Step into reading第一阶段的其中一本。

这套书共分5级，在美国畅销近30年，是一套适合学龄前及小学阶段儿童学习英语的分级“教材”。之所以称之为教材，是因为这套书太受欢迎了，随便进入一个小学教室，就一定有它，而众所周知，美国小学没有指定教材，很多老师就是用这套书来给孩子们学习的。

整套系列都是原汁原味的英语原版图书，书中用词地道，词汇丰富，插画漂亮，有助于改善孩子的英语阅读能力。内容包罗万象，有图画书、数学、经典童话故事、励志故事和科普类等。

1故事简介

哪个小朋友的书架里能少得了一本字母书呢。这魔法般的26个字母拼拼凑凑就能组成成千上万的单词，能让千军万马都跃然纸上。“威力”如此强大的字母，我们只需要一本好玩的字母书就能搞定啦。

HAPPY ALPHABET! 是一本拼读读物，作为拼读读物，其目的当然是让小朋友认得字母跟学习字母音啦。对于很多普通的家长来说，对于拼读中的字母音并不是非常熟悉，但这也没有关系，我们可以借助一些可以在网络中找到的歌曲资源或者下载一个APP跟孩子一起学习英文字母以及字母音。

今天这本书的内容看似非常简单，也不像故事系列那么有趣，不就是认识字母和字母拼读嘛。可是里面的内容非常丰富，也暗含了一个有趣的故事和一些有意思的细节，越妈花了两天时间才把他们挖掘整理出来。

关于里面拓展的内容，爸爸妈妈们需要根据自己孩子的英语水平去选择性学习讲解，比如找首字母为A，B,C的其它单词，主要适合有基础的，特别是已经接触自然拼读这块的孩子玩。对于刚启蒙的孩子来说有难度。

反正，提高孩子学习的兴趣和信心最重要。

3活动拓展

拓展活动1：字母游戏

在英文中，大写字母叫upper case letter, 小写字母叫lower case letter。对于刚开始学字母的小朋友，经常会搞不清楚大写字母跟小写字母的配对。家长可以准备一些较硬的卡纸，剪成同样大小，分别写上大写字母跟小写字母，跟孩子一起用卡片来玩配对游戏，找到对应的大小写字母后，再跟孩子一起尽可能多的说出一些由这个字母开头的单词。通过这个游戏，让孩子区分大小写，并记住字母大小写的配对。
